President Obama told the Cuban people this morning the Communist revolution that brought the Castros to power was a liberation movement, just like Americas own revolution. Heres my message to the Cuban government and the Cuban people, Obama said. The ideals that are the starting point for every revolution, Americas revolution, Cubas revolution, the liberation movements around the world, these ideals find their truest expression, I believe, in democracy. Not because American democracy is perfect, he emphasized, but because were not, and we like every country need the space that democracy gives us to change. . . . Many suggested

General Washington and his troops didn’t go about shooting royalists. Che and Castro went around shooting anti-revolutionists. Castro murdered his own generals. 0bozo, just shut up.

God is working through what the _resident is doing, though he has no clue of what God is doing through his actions! There is, and has been for some time, a revival occurring in Cuba. People are receiving Bibles from Canada and the US, the number of house churches is exploding and evangelical preachers are reaching people who are too young to have ever known anything but communism. By opening relations with Cuba, the _resident is creating the opportunity for continued growth in belief in the Lord, as more and more pastors can visit Cuba and train local pastors.
My church has been involved in ministry and supporting the training of preachers in Cuba, for many years. I just finished listening to ‘Haven Today’ with Charles Morris, speaking with a number of Believers and the Cuba Bible Authority. The broadcast reminded me of my church’s Ministry in Latin America.
One need only see how Christianity has spread through former Iron Curtain countries. It is happening in Cuba. What satan tries, that confounds people, God turns around and uses for His Glory!

How sad that an American President, on foreign soil, exposes such ignorance of the very basis of America's structuring of its government!
Famous quotations by James Madison (known as the "father" of the Constitution and Author of several of THE FEDERALIST essays, explaining the Constitution to "The People"):
- A pure democracy is a society consisting of a small number of citizens, who assemble and administer the government in person.
- A well regulated militia, composed of the body of the people, trained in arms, is the best most natural defense of a free country.
- Democracy is the most vile form of government... democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention: have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property: and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.
- If men were angels, no government would be necessary.
- It is a universal truth that the loss of liberty at home is to be charged to the provisions against danger, real or pretended, from abroad.
- It will be of little avail to the people that the laws are made by men of their own choice if the laws be so voluminous that they cannot be read, or so incoherent that they cannot be understood.
- Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives.
- Such democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.
- The essence of Government is power; and power, lodged as it must be in human hands, will ever be liable to abuse.
- The purpose of separation of church and state is to keep forever from these shores the ceaseless strife that has soaked the soil of Europe with blood for centuries.
- The truth is that all men having power ought to be mistrusted.
- What prudent merchant will hazard his fortunes in any new branch of commerce when he knows not that his plans may be rendered unlawful before they can be executed?
