While the big news of the day is obviously the awful terror attack in Belgium, something GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump recently said about the city of Brussels is resurfacing, and I have to admit, its a bit startling.
From Right Wing News:
Bomba attacks terrorized the capital of Belgium this morning, and its become reminder to some of the comments Trump has made about Brussels in the the recent past. Comments labelling Brussels as a jihadist hellhole it is those comments that had him criticized, but look whats happening now

Wow.
Yeah its scary how he nailed that one, and whether you think hes competent or not on foreign policy, he obviously knew what he was talking about in regards to Brussels.
What do you think of Trumps comments?
I can remember blogs like Gates of Vienna warning about Brussels since as far back 2005. Of course nothing was done.
He might be but this was not hard to predict. Many people have been saying the same thing, even writing books about it. Mark Steyn for one.
Europe was on alert and knew about multiple attacks coming in the next few days. They just couldn’t find the right people in time.
What Trump does is talk openly about the threat and most importantly he will not be made to stop talking about it. That is what he brings to the table ... his obstinance to PC. And he has the bully pulpit at the moment which others who have been saying the same thing do not have.

You would have said the same about Nazi Germany, perhaps. But would you have had to speak out against it in the highest echelons of government and society knowing the malice that would come your way?
Sometimes leadership isn’t being the only one to see the enemy up ahead. Leadership is stepping out to be the first to attack and having others follow suit.
You provide vision, purpose, motivation, and direction.
But more important than those is actually stepping out.

As a Trump supporter, I agree. It is statistically speaking, low hanging fruit. Of course I do give him credit for picking that fruit.
It’s not that is such as easy thing to predict, but that his opponents never — and still don’t — seized the opportunity.
Trump, like him or not, staked out his territory and his opponents have by and large been in a rush to shout “me too.”
I’ll give anyone credit for pointing out the obvious when so many want to obfuscate the issue or dance around a solution.
Yep. Good thing a leader came along willing to call a spade a spade.
Hasn’t Newt been a heck of an enjoyable guy to watch and listen during this election thing? Somehow or other, Hannity, and sometimes Greta, has had a number of very interesting and compelling interviewees over this time period including Newt, Guiliani (the former prosecutor is spot on when it comes to investigation/prosecution issues about Hillary), and John Bolton.
Here’s the thing...
Every candidate, other than Trump, sounds exactly the same...All the “Washingtonian politispeak”...They each and everyone have the same tone, wording, and manner of the “professional politician” who is accustomed to giving wordy speeches and then sitting back and doing absolutely nothing...
Trump, on the other hand, says what he feels in his heart and doesn’t care a whit that is is not “politically correct” speech with the eloquence that the politicians strive for...
he sounds like what you or I would sound like...Gets to the heart of the issue...
Nobody said that. The only person approaching that level of absurdity is you - with your comparing of Trump to Churchill.
got any pics? ;)
Didn't see the 'I know you are but what am I' coming at all did you? SNAP!
Give it up and embrace the tingle up your leg.
Then it sounds like you do think Churchill is 'nearly' God. Is that right? It's not 'allowable' to compare mere mortals to the demi-God Churchill?
The only thing Trump shares with Churchill is ego
Seek help.
Seriously.
lol
I think Trump's comment that George Bush should have been impeached was wrong, and wrongheaded.
Bush warned years ago that terrorism would spread if not defeated at its source. Trump is also wrong when he refuses to commit to tearing up the bad Obama deal with Iran.
Caught in your own words.
He wants to see what’s in it versus what’s being done.
As you recall, some of it was secret.
You mean like Ward?
Though I think that Trump is the only candidate who can beat your Dhimmi-commi-crats, it is certainly NOT a reflection that I think Trump is 'good', let alone 'great'! He is merely the least distasteful of a slate of truly distasteful candidates. I guess we do get the leaders we deserve. My country is stuck with a 'paler' shade of your _resident until October 21, 2019!
Maranatha Lord, maranatha!
