While the big news of the day is obviously the awful terror attack in Belgium, something GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump recently said about the city of Brussels is resurfacing, and I have to admit, it’s a bit startling.

Bomba attacks terrorized the capital of Belgium this morning, and it’s become reminder to some of the comments Trump has made about Brussels in the the recent past. Comments labelling Brussels as a jihadist “hellhole” …it is those comments that had him criticized, but look what’s happening now…

Yeah it’s scary how he nailed that one, and whether you think he’s competent or not on foreign policy, he obviously knew what he was talking about in regards to Brussels.

In eighty years time there will be a post on Free Republic. It will say “XXX is the Trump of our Time!”.
And another poster will say “Are you kidding? Trump saved Western civilization! XXX is nothing like Trump!”
Churchill is the greater man. But Trump shares this with Churchill: he doesn’t draw back from obvious truths. This is why Western civilization can’t spare him.
It’s easy to say that such and such a person ‘knew’ that, too. But they didn’t speak out. Perhaps they were afraid of the backlash, but they didn’t speak out.
What has Trump done in deeds and not words, that would cause you to think and state that he will “save Western Civilization”?
I know what Trump is not, please tell me what he is. Say why you think this man is capable of “saving Western Civilization?

Obvious and to the point. Trump speaks simple truth in a time of universal deceit.
If Western Civilization adopts Trump's plain speaking and fearlessness then Western Civilization can be saved.
And that's just his plain-speaking about Islam.
He also poses an existential threat to the banking elite. The President has control of the ESF, upon which the entire dollar ponzi scheme depends. But a President Trump wouldn't owe the uniparty elite a damn thing and could cut them all off.
Trump is not Churchill. Our dumbed-down generation don't deserve a second Churchill. What we've got is, well, Trump.
Trump speaks obvious truths in a truth-starved age, and he doesn't need Goldman Sach's money. This is why he may yet save the West - and why the uniparty will stop at nothing to stop him.
With due respect...you state what he will do. How do you know? What has he done?
Please tell the thread how anyone is supposed to keep Muslims out of your country WITHOUT doing it politically.
Does Trump have to have spent years deporting Muslims and blocking Muslim immigration, before you will vote for him and so allow him the ability to deport Muslims and block Muslim immigration?
You do see the problem with that? Private citizens have no ability to deport Muslims and block Muslim immigration.

Ronald Reagan had a record of that of successful governor of California. I voted for Reagan on that record.
So you think that Trump will deport and block muslims (which of course I agree with) because he says he will. What about his past....other than what he says....makes you believe he will do what he says he will do?
