In the caucuses March 1, I was elected an alternate delegate to the Colorado State GOP convention, which on April 9 will select and instruct our delegates to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland this summer.
Accordingly, I have drawn up a resolution which is now being circulated which will forbid Colorado delegates to the national convention from voting for Donald Trump for president or vice president on any ballot. Such a resolution is necessary, because Trump has publically stated that his methods of operation include buying or renting the services of politicians for cash.
As the text of the resolution provides a succinct and forceful summary of the reasons why Donald Trump is acceptable as a Republican candidate for president, I thought I would share it with the readers of American Thinker. Here it is:
Resolution to Forbid Colorado Delegates from Voting for Donald Trump
Whereas Donald Trump is not a Republican; and
Whereas Donald Trump is a demagogue who is using fear, hate, and lies to assemble a mob in support of an agenda of socialist policy, unlimited government, and strongman rule; and
Whereas Donald Trump would destroy the Western alliance which is the basis of American security; and................

The GOP establishment gave us eight years of Obama-this is no surprise.
Mortman: Whereas Robert Zubrin has declared that the voters expressed will is immaterial to his political purposes, I move that he be expelled from the party by a committee of offended voters.
AGREED!
Reads like a screed from Occupy scum.
Who knew: the RINO gang are just a bunch of UN globalist world socialist types who hate successful business people.
I’ll bet Cruz supporters are all for this.

“I have been a precinct captain for the GOP in Colorado”
Well, any truth to this report from your viewpoint?
Exactly...he doesn’t have enough RINOs behind him to win.
Destroy the GOP, destroy the Media. Period.
Don’t you know it.
PING!!

The republican leadership is in bed with the Socislist Democrats, why, because they are socialists too.
Our party has been taken over by socialtists.
I personally have not seen the resolution, but this election cycle, the party (COGOP) has been working hard to shut out the grass roots so I would not put it past them.
I'm not Trump's biggest fan. However, the problem in this transaction isn't the buyer, it's the seller.
My guess: If Trump doesn't win on the first ballot, it will probably be Cruz on a later ballot. Because it will be one of those two. No one else has enough delegates to matter.
Delegates can vote as they wish after the first ballot. But I can't imagine any Trump delegate, or Cruz delegate for that matter, voting for Jeb, etc.
The GOPe dislikes Cruz. but they hate Trump. If there is no first-ballot winner, Cruz will get the deal.
Unless...Trump+Carson puts Trump over the top.
Colorado Ping ( Let me know if you wish to be added or removed from the list.)
Colorado already have their primary?
What were the results?
Who is this guy???
Just because this idiot draws up this resolution doesn’t mean that the Colorado GOP is in favor.
The resolution effectively ignores who Colorado chooses.
That fat slob from New Jersey Christie spent over $175,000 to make an attack add against Tom Tancredo insuring the election of John Hickenlooper. GOP who are you, really?
Makes sense.
Trump pulls back the curtain and asks “whose the guy behind the Curtain?”
The Gope replies, “Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain! For we are the great and powerful Gope!”
You're talking about Bill Owens, right?
Didn’t some gopE assclown just say the other day that the people don’t select the candidate, “they” do? Keep it up dipwads.
