Glenn Beck brought a fasting child on stage yesterday during his campaign speech for Ted Cruz in Utah. Beck declared to the Cruz crowd: “This is the priesthood rising.”

I’m fine with Beck revealing the weird ideas in Mormonism. But hearing these things should make Cruz step back warily from Beck.

I used to be a daily listener to Beck and was happy at first when he (and I) first preferred Cruz. But Trump-bashing 24/7 has made the Blaze unlistenable for me.

I'm not a Mormon, but when Glenn Beck initially requested a fast for the Cruz campaign, I joined in. While I'm not disciplined enough to work a monk-type fast [on bread and water only], I AM still fasting for this nation, and started on 2-22. Many look to the eccentric side of Beck, but he can be inspiring as well. Prayer, [safe] fasting; it's all good! :)

I was cleaning out my “jewelry” box this morning.

In it I have 4 broken earrings I found when cleaning out the in-laws house - mother died, dad going to a nursing home.

My m-i-l was crazy about diamonds and I thought maybe I’d found 4 pretty good sized stones. I took them to a jeweler who tested them and they were just glass.

But I’ve kept them, thinking maybe the jeweler was wrong and I’ll get them checked again.

You know in your gut when it’s time to admit the truth.
