Regardless of who you support not too many people will argue with Trump’s assessment of David Brooks.

Trump shouldn’t pick a fight with someone who buys ink by the barrel.

I have always thought Brooks was a vapid columnist, even before his moronic pants crease comment.
He is emblematic of the problem with the GOP elite.
No real world experience.

This country would change dramatically if we had a new breed of pundit out there.

The media is dominated by old Leftists whose glory days were the 60s. Even “Conservatives” like Brooks support Big government, hate Big Business, and think white Christian males are the problem.

If the media were transformed and pushes concepts of faith, family and community, our entire culture could change.

So sick of Brooks and his liberal bs on PBS news. I can barely watch any of it any more. Last night he did admit that a Trump win is impossible to avoid any longer.

David Brooks has a Hillary 2016 tattoo on his forehead.

Trump is right, reading Broks’ stuff is a total waste of ink, even if he buys it by the barrel.

David who???? Oh....him.
Delusional. Lives in La-La Land.
Totally irrelevant and suffers from mental disorders.

Reading Or listening to Brooks is good for on thing, hearing/reading what the out of touch republican elite morons in the echo chamber of DC believe and think. Nothing more.

I'm no fan of Brooks, but the issue for me is that the Donald again resorts to 4th grade name-calling as his first reaction to criticism.

This is one of the many reasons I cannot support Trump.

Even more disappointing is the immediate response of the Trump fan intelligentsia on FR is to cheer on the 4th grade bullying insults. It makes me really think less of them as well.

I shudder at the concept of a meeting with Putin where the Donald emerges and addresses the media with "Putin is a real poopy head!"

David Brooks is not a ‘conservative’ by any stretch of the imagination. Unless it is in his own mind.

“Donald Trump is epically unprepared to be president,” Brooks wrote. Among his complaints about the billionaire businessman:

- “He has no realistic policies, no advisers, no capacity to learn. His vast narcissism makes him a closed fortress.”

- He is running for president “with less preparation than most of us would undertake to buy a sofa.”

- “Trump is perhaps the most dishonest person to run for high office in our lifetimes. All politicians stretch the truth, but Trump has a steady obliviousness to accuracy.”

- “He is a childish man running for a job that requires maturity. He is an insecure boasting little boy whose desires were somehow arrested at age 12.”

All of these things he may be, David, but a guy who endorsed Barack Obama is perhaps not the best guy to be making the argument.
