Krauthammer: I Was Wrong for Laughing at Trump… Democrats Are Worried

Charles Krauthammer finally admitted tonight that he was wrong when he laughing at Donald Trump six months ago. The FOX News pundit has been one of Donald Trump’s leading GOP Beltway detractors.

Krauthammer: He’s demonstrated the ability to bring out people who aren’t regular voters, aren’t regular Republicans, and he could alter the map. I think Democrats who thought six months ago, who thought he was a joke, I thought he was a joke for a nominee for the Republican Party, and a lot of people thought as well.

We were all wrong. So he has a capacity to appeal. So we have no way of knowing. But I do think Democrats are beginning to think that this is not a slam dunk and this guy he doesn’t play by the rules. He makes them up. And under a new set of rules she could lose to him.

When folks still have a dog in the fight the pollsters love those BS assumptions. I project it might be as little as 5% this time around because many on the right are awakening to the fact that Cruz was not what he claimed to be... and Trump is turning out to be exactly what he claims to be.

The question that all us Trump supporters is WHERE THE HELL WAS HE (and others) when we Trump supporters were saying EXACTLY THE SAME.

Whites STILL make up 70% of the voting electorate. Most of them (other than the gays and rich) are DESPISED by Democrats. Most of them (other than the rich) are DESPISED by Republicans. That leaves about 60% of the voting electorate.

Is it any BIG SURPRISE that the first candidate in decades that actually treats these 60% as HUMAN BEINGS is doing well with them? It really doesn’t take a political analyst making $250,000+ per year to figure this out...all it takes is reading a few comments here from people like myself and other Trump supporters.

Same. I wrote an email to my very lefty lib birth mother in August (on Labor Day) in which I had this line:

"All is well. Enjoying my day off (even though I don't agree with the principal behind the holiday). Hopefully President Trump (looks like it is gonna happen) will change the name to "Capitalism Day" or "Free Market Day". Why not? Obama can rename mountains (and piss off Ohioans)."

She later told me to bite my tongue since not a single primary vote had been cast. I can't wait to email this to her come Nov. 9th.

Mea culpa: When I saw the first thread announcing Trump’s entry into the race, I posted a laugh out loud response to the OP (Cringing Negativism Network).

About a month ago, I openly apologized to him for doing that. He was right. I was wrong.
