I want to know who it is that Clint Eastwood endorses!
Just like every other prediction of the end of Trump, this one too shall fail. He’ll get the delegates he needs. Cruz winning Utah isn’t going to give him any momentum, he’s going to get crushed in Arizona the same day, then go on to get crushed in WI and NY.
It’s over. Might as well kick back and prepare for the wall.
Hugh continues to embarrass his loyal fans with his GOPe support of an open convention.
Today, Senator Lindsey Graham announced his full-throated support for Senator Ted Cruz, to include giving Cruz access to Grahams extensive donor and lobbying lists for financial support.
[
] Sen. Lindsey Graham will host a fundraiser on Monday in support of Sen. Ted Cruz.
Hewitt is a real POS. Listening to him is a journey into the mind of the enemy within.
“radio host Hugh Hewitt predicted a nominee wouldn’t be crowned during the primary process, but instead at an open convention”
“can someone please bitch slap little Hugh Hewitt and knock some sense into him.
An open convention is stupid. Trump will either win outright or be close enough to make a deal to win. The other candidates should drop out and prepare to beat Hillary and the Democrats.
in before the Ican’t wait for the GOP to blow itself up.
Hewitt’s still pimping for Romney, I presume.
Hugh Hewitt is hysterical and has lost credibility. Whether we support Trump or not, we should be grateful to him for exposing fake conservatives and the mentally unstable.
Hugh is a GOPe layer for the establishment view.
I hope they serve good food. Little weinies and shrimp and all.. Lots of cheese.. And beer..
I know, thats whats on my menu.
Don’t think so Hugh. A little math does a lot of good..http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3410261/posts
If it did happen it would mean the end of the GOP Party.
If the GOPe does this.....why not simply end the whole primary elections and just ENDORSE HILLARY Clinton??? The net effect will be the same and they can save every one of their donors’ money!!
With the polls being what they are so far, there is that case to be made. I'll admit the numbers scare the heck out of me, too.
Nope Trump will hav enough delegates. They ignore their own rules, or change them to deny voters wishes, ifmthey think so far it has been bad, thy don’t know how bad it will get for them.
“If It Isn’t Close They Can’t Cheat “
If so the GOP is dead trump goes independent and we win
Remember in High School the “In Crowd”? The “Beautiful Ones” that many kids were jealous of? Good. Now remember the toadies and sycophants that hung around and did their bidding. That’s what Hugh is. One of the sycophants of the GOPe, doing their dirty work and living off of table scraps. In private the Ryans and McConnells speak of such lapdogs with contempt. But then they go on his show and pet him and he wags his tail and thinks that he’s a power broker. In reality he’s only a lickspittle.
Article II, Section 1, Clause 2: Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector.Article II, Section 1, Clause 3: The Electors shall meet in their respective States, and vote by Ballot for two Persons, of whom one at least shall not be an Inhabitant of the same State with themselves. ..."
The problem is that the constitutionally undefined political parties have pirated the elector appointment process for president imo. So claimis by the political parties that they decide who the candidates are as unconstitutional as the political parties are imo.
Also probably the main reason that political parties are now unconstitutionally interfering in the presidential election process imo, is because they want to control 10th Amendment-protected state powers which the corrupt feds have been stealing from the states since after the Civil War.
In fact, note that one of the very few powers that the states have actually delegate to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, to regulate an aspect INTRAstate commerce is to manage the U.S. Mail Service (1.8.7). And how many political parties does it take to manage the U.S. Mail Service?
I say none.
Remember in November !
When patriots elect Trump, Cruz, or whatever conservative they elect, they need to also elect a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will not only work within its Section 8-limited powers to support the new president, but also protect the states from unconstitutional federal government overreach, including putting a stop to unconstitutional federal taxing and spending.
Also, consider that such a Congress would probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.
