More moral relevance on display. Jeff Sessions isn’t running for president. Cruz did those things and because Sessions voted for the Corker bill does not make it right for either him or Cruz. Cruz is supposed to be a constitutional demi-god that surrendered Congress’s treaty power. The issue at hand here is ultra establishment Graham supporting Cruz.
