Republican leaders are wavering between grudging acceptance and deep denial about Donald Trump's likely ascent to the GOP presidential nomination.
With at least three more states in his win column, Trump is now the only candidate with a path to clinching the Republican nomination before the party's convention in July. But he still must do better in upcoming contests to get the necessary 1,237 delegates, leaving some opponents with a sliver of hope he can still be stopped.

"Former Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott, who is supporting Kasich, said there were "calls going back and forth between the Kasich-Rubio campaign" about the possibility of a joint ticket"
Say ‘Uncle’...c’mon...say ‘Uncle’...
Now they know how I feel. (but for vastly different reasons)
Good. Then two birds with one stone.
Cruz had better start doing some clear thinking. He will end up on the short end of this if he doesnt.
I got about as much faith in him on doing that as..
“Former Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott, who is supporting Kasich, said there were “calls going back and forth between the Kasich-Rubio campaign” about the possibility of a joint ticket”
Sore Loosermen!
I guess the GOPe doesn’t like to hold their nose and vote for someone they don’t like...ya know the way we had to do for so many years.
If, after the votes and delegates are counted, Trump’s the rightful nominee, get over it, GOPe. Like him or not, he may very well be the guy left standing. If and when that time comes, the fighting and shouting times are over; get behind him and help pull him over the finish line in November.
That was before Tuesday. Not any more Lott is just anti Cruz he would have access to the interview before elected to the senate in which Cruz states NBC is two citizen parent -born on the land
Cruz is going to find out one of these days that he’s not even eligible. That you can’t be a Natural born Canadian citizen for 43 years....and then poof...suddenly you’re just a plain ole American citizen and running for President.
Interesting, never heard of that interview. Of course I agree with him 100%, but I have just never heard mention of that interview.
After all those years of being their voting fodder, we have a candidate the elitist backstabbers didn’t choose (unless they steal the nomination). Sure is nice to know they don’t think of their voting fodder as the “lesser of two evils”.
They are going to steal this nomination from the people if we are not right in their face.
They will say “The rules are the Rules” but watch this — they will turn right around and say Rule 40b, requiring the the nominee to have the majority of delegates from 8 states IS NOT THE RULE??? Are rules rules or are rules NOT the rules? 40b is clear. Noone can be nominated unless he has 8 state majorities. ( that is 50%, sport fans) ONLY TRUMP GETS THERE. IF we are going to change rule 40, then let’s change the threshold to 1100 delegates. Rules are rules or rules are not rules.
Roger Stone is warning that entire states will be thrown out like Massachusetts and New Hampshire because they were “open Primaries” . Stone says that we have provable rampant fraud in Texas and Oklahoma( remember how cruz exceeded the polls by over 12%??) . TRUMP MAY FLOOR FIGHT ON FRAUD AND KNOCK THE ENTIRE SLATES OUT FROM TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA.
I think thousands of Americans are going not only to the convention but to the rules shenanigans going on the week BEFORE the convention.
And let me say this now . It is the “Chicago rule” at that convention. The rule set by the establishment and Ted Cruz and the liberal press is this — “If there is a riot at a Trump event,it is Trump’s fault” . Ok — If there is a RIOT at the RNC event in Cleveland it is on the RNC!! The RNC is setting a TONE of violence against the Millions of Trump voters who out voted everyone else by an ever growing huge margin. The RNC had better not incite this riot or any riot by freedom loving Americans will be right on the heads of the RNC. We are not going to just sit there and allow our votes to be disregarded, IMO
The planned Moveon, AFL-CIO "controlled riot" will probably March to the WH for a meeting, and be treated to O's praise of their Communist goals. The GOP lacks the testicular fortitude to stop the trampling of abusive Exec orders, First Amendment infringement and soon, end of the Second Amend. Get your AR-15 now, or never in my opinion.
Then they better get on board fast with We the People or they’ll be out of a job.
The attendants there at the Washington Home for The Terminally Arrogant really shouldn’t allow Curly out without Larry and Moe to keep an eye on him!
And you SILLY VOTERS thought YOUR votes actually mattered?

GOP is not called “the Stupid Party” for nothing. The guy has been running and amassing huge support for 9 months. They’re a little late getting the message all those people have been trying to send.
1.) He needs someone as VP that has been in the house or senate to even have a 10% chance of getting anything done.
2.) I really believe if he is elected he will only serve one term. No one in the government will work with him. Plus he can’t fire them and the voters in their districts wont vote many of them out.
He will be frustrated and not seek another term.
They’ll work with him just fine. They just need a leader. He needs someone LIKE Newt for VP.
Ping!
