Cruz has to disavow it for his own benefit.

Honestly, I cannot believe Cruzers can be so naive as to think that any establishment brokered deal will work to his benefit.

There are three men left in the race, and two places on the ticket.

Seriously, look into your heart. Who do you really think is going to be left out?

Oh, my, ‘dealing’ going on now... who has the ‘trump card’? Bunch of holy roller hypocrites.

DeLay: “It’s a long way from over. I did the calculations this morning. Trump is the only one that can get the majority of the delegates, but he has to win at least 600 out of 900 that are remaining.

DeLay needs to improve upon his math skills. Trump is at 694

So 1237 - 694 = 543, not 600

Its in Cruz interest to join Trump instead of trying to sabotage it with attempts to court GOPe. This strategy will not work well for Cruz

What’s a stronger ticket?
#1 and #2 joining forces or
#2 and #4

Makes sense. Trump cannot be Cruz if it’s man to man. Trump will promise Kasich something to stay in. Cruz will promise him something to get out.

If Kasich gets out now and tells his supporters to go Cruz, that's one thing. Like Rubio did. I would find that perfectly acceptable. If then Cruz ended up with the most delegates, that's fine.

If Kasich waits until the convention and Trump is within a few votes of having what is needed and Kasich tries to be King maker all bets are off. The chaos will ensure Hillary becomes President.

One more thing, just as the GOPe could not win without Conservatives,(McCain, Romney)Conservatives can not win without the GOP-e. Keep fighting and refusing to vote for so and so and we get Hillary.

You'd have thought eight years of Obama and a previous Clinton Presidency could bring people together.

Trump has two serious advantages in this race.

1) Trump is actually a Natural Born Citizen of the United States.

2) Trump is the only Natural Born Citizen of the United States who has actually won a state (during this Primary Race) that he does not live in.

Adversaries should not ever consider for even an instant that that issue is going away, because it ain't.

Cruz is attempting to throw this race to Hillary, and if Cruzbots cannot see that by now then they are plainly stupid.

And there was a rumor this morning that Cruz wants SCOTUS from Trump.

It’s going to be a long week.

Cruz won’t sell, he comes off as a kinda inferior LBJ. He would be having temper tantrums every day because Donald won’t give him his pony.

Reality is this, Donald Trump won’t hire a crony, not even to appease voters, i can see that. Many can speculate all they want in fantasyland but Trump has far better people already on a speed dial.

It won’t be Cruz, Kasich, Rubio, Bush, Fiorina. They should just take a 4 year chill pill. Better luck next time!

Cruz has not won the necessary Rule 40 B states , the RNC campaign rule requires a presumptive candidate to have taken 100% of the delegates in at least 8 states just to get onto the floor of the convention.

Cruz has not done that and is unlikely to do it.

Trump pretty much has the nomination sewed up, with 26 states remaining and Trump polling between 40% and 55% in the remaining states it is not really possible for Cruz to get 100% of the delegates in any remaining state, let alone 8 of them.

Interesting post abound speculating on situations and maneuvers by Cruz and the GoPe for the top spot.

Cruz is done, says the math, we’re now gonna find out if he cares for the country or if he just a GoPe politikin huckster using a fake conservative label for personal gain.

He needs to choose his words carefully, and position himself for the VP.

His political future and that of the country depend on it.
