When Fiorina is asked why the GOP is not willing to rally around Trump and let the people speak, her answer was so frightening it proved the GOP establishment is down-right dangerous.
Her answer was something to the effect of "can we first talk about which people are speaking?" WOW!

“But, for most politicians, party choice is rarely ideological; its a career decision. Which party is accessible, which party exhibits most promise of advancement in the prospective politicians locationthose are the main issues, not ideology.”
BINGO! They are told how to feel about an issue by the K St. Lobbyists who own them.

Trump would lose head to head against any of the other 16 candidates who started the race. Why surrender the nomination to him?

Their is no “labor” party in the USA. I think Trump may be changing the Republicans into the Labor Party. I do not think this means union labor, just middle class workers party.

Then why do people vote in primaries for candidates?
---------------------------
Good question. Since the 'elites' own the party, why should they
leave the selection of whom they choose to carry the party banner
in the hands of the general public? Does Apple put product
development decisions up for a vote by its customers?
Perhaps primaries are to infuse the electorate with the notion
that they have somehow chosen the nominee and are thus
obligated to vote for the nominee for the actual office.
In which case, the primaries serve to placate the electorate
so they do not feel they have failed to do anything.
It is reminiscent of Kafka's parable,
Before the Law. Before the Law is a short piece you might enjoy reading.

Pretty much. Think of yourself as a prisoner standing locked in his cell and shouting out through the bars, “I’m free! I’m free!”

I’m fine with Cruz and I’m fine with Trump. Either one, as long as it keeps Hillary and Bernie out of the white house.

Several decades of postmodern public education, with its de-emphasis on civics, keen attention to vacuous self-esteem programs, and strict nonjudgmentalism, have produced a population mildly troubled by killing 53 million of its own citizens for the sake of convenience while honoring and upholding sodomy with greater devotion than it honors and upholds either the Constitution or the families it is designed to protect. With these things in mind, Donald Trump is a far better presidential candidate than the United States of America deserves. For that matter, so is Barak Obama.

Haven’t finished this thread yet, but Stone needs to send his tweet information to DRUDGE. Such an absurdity would be put in the ash can over night. TEXANS would raise hell.

That is terribly mushy and cute, there, what you said.
But Cruz throwing in with any effort to rob the Republican front runner of his delegates, at some point soon, when Cruz knows damn well he can not himself win— well, such an action as that is not a virtue.
It’s actually corruption. Buy a clue.
