It's over folks. Trump is going to get AT LEAST 550 of the remaining winner take all delegates.
That leaves 349 proportional delegates to be picked at. If he gets 1/3 of those, that's another 116.
so 666 (are you kidding me?) additional delegates will put him over the top easily.

He will get most of the proportional states too. It is over and time for Cruz to pack it in.
Pray America wakes
Uh, let’s hope it’s not exactly that.
I will be voting in NJ.
Vote Trump
Nj. do you know that before they started breaking ice for ships to get through, you could walk to NJ from the southern most part of staten island :)
very small distance of water.
Nice analysis.
Let’s get Trump and Rubio and Cruz in a room...they can work it out to make Hong Kong Phooey null and void, and combine forces against Hitlery.
Time to practice the Art of the Deal, Donald. Please.
The Republic is at stake.
Trump/Cruz 2016
Kill that Convention fight for Kasich.
They need to do it the night before.
It will be brilliant.
Trump/Cruz 2016
Five of those states are winner take all by congressional district, including California. He will not win all of them, not even close. He particularly will not win all of the districts in CA. That is why Kasich stays in to win states like MD and to win urban/suburban congressional districts in states like WI, IN and CA. Cruz will very likely win states like NE and SD. Cruz will probably win the two caucus states remaining.
Based on the math and looking at the remaining states, it is a longshot Trump has this wrapped up before the convention.
How does that work ???
How do you see Kasich winning anything else when Trump will hammer him to death with taking George Soros money, NAFTA., etc.?
How does that work ???
You win the district, you win all the delegates for that district.
Utah maybe his only hope but the Huntsman nate Mitt so maybe not
Kasich was hammered on that during two gubernatorial races and leading up to the Ohio primary vote. It has no impact.
They will stay in and bloody the guy even more for November. Cruz is pissed because Donald took the whole south eastern corner of the map from him. Donald took states from Ted that Santorum won handily. I think Heidi will push Ted to stay in this until its way past embarrassing, as Ted has no future in the senate. He could go back there I guess and continue being the loneliest guy there and make the others stay up all night occasionally or make good with Mitch and get the “E” stamp of approval.
Hate
I want a contested convention, not a coronation. Let’s have Trump, Cruz, and yes, even “Hothead John” Kasich arrive in CLE, none with 1,237 delegates. Political conventions were designed for this, and the last one in 1976 gave us Ronald Reagan in 1980.
Prediction: Trump wins the GOP nomination in CLE, Hillary beats Trump in 2016, Cruz beats Hillary in 2020.
After last night I wouldn't be surprised if Trump picks Kasich. Ohio is a must-win state and Kasich is an olive branch to the GOPe.
It maybe not hurt in Ohio but the rest of the Country and his trade deals will
Do you know if Ben Carson or Chris Christie have any delegates?
