This was not his year. Voters are looking for a pit bull this year, not Lassie. Rubio is green, needs more experience. We’ll see him again

I hope not.

I want a principled politician.

Rubio proved it was about his political ambitions, not what is good for America when he went with Chuckie to force amnesty onto us Americans.

He is not principled enough patriot to warrant another run in my book.

In fact, I think he will eventually go Democrat, maybe even as Hillary’s VP.

Yes, he is a decent man with a 95% conservative voting record. His downfall was favoring amnesty. Rubio is clearly not a RINO.

That’s silly — but maybe you were just trying to make a joke.

My point is that Rubio bears watching. He’s smart, articulate, charismatic, and right on most issues. He’s also inexperienced, still in his first term in Washington.

Yes, indeed, the Gang of Eight fiasco was a huge mistake and cost him dearly two years into his term. It remains to be seen whether he was naively used by his elders and learned a lesson or whether his conservative principles are, as is popular these days, “flexible.”

Time will tell.

Rubio will be a lobbyist like the rest of them.

I am unsure what you said is silly.

Is it Marco went against his voters in going amnesty?

Was it he was joining with the most liberal members of Congress to try to make a law which most Americans abhor?

Or that he might be picked by Hillary to be VP?

“His downfall was favoring amnesty.”

FAvoring?

He wanted to unleash all he could upon America.

What is possibly less American than letting people illegally here and criminals to remain here and become US citizens?

That is not favoring.

IN many countries, that is declared treason and reason for expulsion or execution.

These are my feelings exactly. I especially appreciated it when he said that he’d rather lose the election and be right on life than win the election and be wrong on life. I didn’t support his candidacy, but he earned a measure of my respect many times over.

Rubio gave a very gracious speech tonight. I think it is clear that the mistake he made was in trying to be hostile...like Trump so aptly put it “it doesn’t work for everyone” And, I do think Trump actually likes Rubio...seriously. Rubio is the kind of man to inspire when he got off message it killed him...just look at the polls and you will see. The other problem he had was the sense of being too young and inexperienced. The perception understand...

Yup, out. He was really the only threat to Trump. Head to head I think Trump wipes out cruz.

Lightweight amnesty traitor who looks like a confused little kid who got lost on the way to class.

Cruz is a thousand times the man Rube is.

Rubio is not right (or right) on most issues.

His amnesty position alone—and to this day—would assure an end to conservatism in this country.

Rubio is not our enemy. The vulture of Islam sits in the dam White House and you go after a guy with a 95% conservative record. Do you know who or what Clinton and Sanders are?

“Rubio is not our enemy.”

I look at actions, not words.

Rubio’s heart was exposed when he went along with the forced destruction of America in opening of our borders by amnesty.

No real American could possibly go along with that.

Yes, he is indeed the enemy. Watch him now pivot to the Dems.
