That’s silly — but maybe you were just trying to make a joke.

My point is that Rubio bears watching. He’s smart, articulate, charismatic, and right on most issues. He’s also inexperienced, still in his first term in Washington.

Yes, indeed, the Gang of Eight fiasco was a huge mistake and cost him dearly two years into his term. It remains to be seen whether he was naively used by his elders and learned a lesson or whether his conservative principles are, as is popular these days, “flexible.”

Time will tell.

I am unsure what you said is silly.

Is it Marco went against his voters in going amnesty?

Was it he was joining with the most liberal members of Congress to try to make a law which most Americans abhor?

Or that he might be picked by Hillary to be VP?

Rubio is not right (or right) on most issues.

His amnesty position alone—and to this day—would assure an end to conservatism in this country.
