Ted Cruz open to Rubio and Kasich in cabinet

Sen. Ted Cruz said Monday he could see inviting presidential campaign opponents Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and Ohio Gov. John Kasich into his cabinet in Washington -- and he also said he could see circumstances where he would not support front-runner Donald Trump as the nominee.

The conservative Texan has been repeatedly asked about whether he would support Trump if the mogul ends up winning the primary. Despite a the presence of the "Never Trump" movement within the Republican Party, candidates have been quick to say they will support the Republican nominee.

But speaking with reporters in Illinois on Monday, Cruz did say there was a scenario he wouldn't get behind Trump.

"I can give you one example where I would no longer support Donald Trump -- if, for example, he were to go out on Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, I would not be willing to support Donald Trump," Cruz said.

“Of course, I could absolutely see a place for Marco Rubio and John Kasich in an administration. They’re talented, smart, serious leaders.”

Jeez. One stop short of complete capitulation to the Establishment.

I’ve got one foot out the door with that quote, Ted. DAMMIT!

Cruz has is partnered with Glenn Beck and Mitt Romney. He has given Neil Bush a high ranking position in his campaign. Now he said his cabinet will include Soros funded Kasich and Gang of 8 Rubio.

Cruz is a sociopath. Utterly without conscience, conviction, an opportunist of the highest order, no friends and a calculating persona. All hallmarks of a sociopath. He can be whatever you want him to be.

He has a long history demonstrating an opportunistic streak - including his “rebellion” against the establishment.

He has given Neil Bush a high ranking position in his campaign

I wouldn't be surprised if Neil is pushing for a position as Secretary of the Treasury. He'd do a great job, considering how well Silverado Savings and Loan did under his watch /sarcasm

That’s how the GOP elites operate. They demand that populist or libertarian candidates/voters back their hack candidates in the general election, but when the tables are turned and the grassroots finally get a candidate of their own choosing, the party elites feel no need to reciprocate.

Kasich has some good domestic policy ideas, just not on immigration. Rubio seems to understand foreign affairs, but keep him away from immigration. And if Trump were to murder someone (obviously he won’t), who in their right mind would vote for him?

I saw proof of a planned Trump/Cruz ticket yesterday with KellyAnne Conway’s remark about the establishment coming to Cruz. Notice he’s never mentioned, let alone defended, hiring the Bushes back into .gov? Why would he do something that indefensible? Because there’s a deal, so we can’t get too comfy in our hate for each other :)
