Ted Cruz "The Infiltrator"
Townhall ^ | 12 March 2014 | Carl Jackson

Posted on 03/15/2016 5:59:02 AM PDT by John Valentine

"You can cast a vote on Super Tuesday for Marco Rubio or John Kasich, who have no mathematical path to the nomination at this point. Frankly, they're serving as nothing more than spoilers... You can fall pray to the media hype of "the Duper." Or, you can vote to set America back on a constitutional course by voting for Ted Cruz. I choose the latter and I hope you will too."

I am amazed he’s still got a lot of conservative support.

He keeps their support as long as he keeps saying he will repeal every word of Obamacare ... and abolish the IRS.

No one in their right mind believes him.

And then tonight, as violence broke out, the rally was canceled all together. Now, the responsibility for that lies with protesters who took violence into their own hands. But

You forgot the but monkey

Fortunately we have a video of Cruzs' remarks so Lets listen to Cruz himself

I am just so tired of the flat-out lies. Cruz placed the blame for the violence on the protesters. Read his quote. Then he went on to talk about DTs ‘culture’ (like his quote ‘knock the crap out of them’ maybe). Much like Obama ‘bring a gun’, the words mean something. I think it was quite obvious what Cruz was talking about, if you slow down and read the word ‘but’ in his quote, it seems to me that ‘knock the crap out of them’ would be ‘affirmatively encouraging violence’.

Again what seemed VERY clear was that Cruz linked together the violent protesters in Chicago with his "spin" of Trump's rallies. There was no other way to interpret this in the context of what he said. He was clearly saying that Trump's actions and attitudes encouraged and caused the violent protests in Chicago. It's like saying "Well, yes, it's clearly the rapists fault...but if that slut wouldn't have been walking around with her short skirt on doing whatever she wanted then this wouldn't have happened."

No the “flat out lie” is to try and spin Cruz's statements to say something they do not.

Cruz is acting like a Defense Lawyer trying to use “She was asking for it” rape defense

Cruz is making a “Yes but”, defense.

Cruz is saying

Yes what was done was wrong BUT it is justified because the victim...

Anyone NOT welded at the hip to a candidate knows that is exactly what this is and will hold Cruz accountable

There was such an opportunity here for Cruz and he totally blew it.

Can you imagine what the result would of been if Cruz had come out and supported Trump and soundly castigated the media and the rioters? If he had made a full throated defense of the Constitutional principals of Free Speech and Free Assembly?

But instead he weaseled just like the standard issue GOPE politicians.

Trumpers need to stop being so childish and stupid.

Don't project your behavior on everyone else. Don't blame the defenders for shooting back at your verbal attacks Cruzites

Now, I like Cruz, but we have 4 to 5 judges coming up, a possible world war, etc. Major stuff. The No. 1 arguments against Trump is hes lying, not real, faking it. However, consider this- would ALL the Power players be this scared of him if that were true. People with power information control resources etc are scared of him doing what he says hes going to do. Why would they be Threatened if hes a fake and one of them?

Precisely.

Well he’s the truest snake oil salesman in the GOP race that’s for sure.

Taking in the Jeb Bush staffers and ex criminal Neil Bush to his campaign have exposed Teddy not as a conservative gone astray but a desperate political hack who has no values and will do or say anything to attempt to win the Republican nomination. Ted Cruz has no chance to beat Hillary Clinton or any other Democrat in a general election. He attracts only a minority of the Republican party and will not do well with independents or Reagan Reapublicans.

Fortunately Lyin Teddy and the SS Cruz are taking on water like the titanic. The American voters are not as stupid as they look.

You need to start learning from your mistakes. Your defense of Cruz is utter nonsense.

Sen Cruz didn’t fall for a false meme. He pointed out that when Trump had the opportunity to be Presidential, he was not. Now ever Trump has walked back his comments about paying that 78 year old criminal’s legal bills. So that it would appear that even Trump agrees with Sen Cruz.

No, Sen Cruz called out Trump for his lack of Presidential response. Trump should have disavowed the actions of that 78 year old boy and criminal. What Trump should have done is said something to the effect that he needs all of his supporters voting and not sitting in jail, so let the police handle the protesters.

Now to Trump’s credit, he has walked back his statement about paying the legal fees so it would seem that even Trump agrees with Sen Cruz.

Cruz is not expected to do well today.

We'll find out this evening, or at the latest tomorrow evening how he is doing.

Personally I don't pay attentions to speculations which this is.

Dubya couldn’t raise his voice during his eight years and seven 0bama years, yet he came out to express his dislike of Cruz. The reason is Cruz as TX Solicitor General opposing the Bush administration on a death penalty case involving an illegal Mexican. It’s one reason I liked Cruz, before his cynical cave-in last weekend, turning organized street theater into a weapon against Trump.

Don’t know about you, but I lived through the 1968 mess and said Never Again. Enemy of my enemy...

Never thought I’d say it, but Go Trump!

The Pledge? Now nobody’s allowed to raise their right hand any more because it looks like a gnatzie salute? That’s ridiculous. And while we’re at it, please let the Indians have the swastika back. It is theirs.

constitutional course by voting for Ted Cruz
No Cruz failed that test. We are suppose to trust “Ted Cruz the Principled” to be the “Strongest Constitutional Conservative”? But when an easy slam dunk issue like the Chicago riots presented Ted Cruz plays politics instead like a standard issue linguine spine GOPE politician. If he is willing to cave to the false media meme rather then unreservedly defend the Constitutional Principals of Free Speech and Free Assembly, what else is he willing to cave on when the pressure is on?

Trump said he wants to do “everything” for health-care, and that in regards to immigration its all negotiable. Given his track record and flip flops, are you supporting Rubio or Kasich?
