Ted Cruz "The Infiltrator"
Townhall ^ | 12 March 2014 | Carl Jackson

"You can cast a vote on Super Tuesday for Marco Rubio or John Kasich, who have no mathematical path to the nomination at this point. Frankly, they're serving as nothing more than spoilers... You can fall pray to the media hype of "the Duper." Or, you can vote to set America back on a constitutional course by voting for Ted Cruz. I choose the latter and I hope you will too."

Goldman Cruz is oily and delusional, typical Harvard lawyer
who LIES, LIES, LIES.

IF Cruz pulls out and apologizes very soon (like yesterday),
he has chance in the next election.

Cruz failed the Constitutional test. When the pressure was on, he tried to be on both sides rather then stand for the Constitutional principles.

Spin as hard as you want, Cruz failed because he would rather play politics then defend the Constitution Right of voters.

Mr. Strict Constitutionalist that fails the First Amendment test for the zeal of cheap political rhetorical points. Yea, we got it.

“And your nonsense about George Soros backing Cruz is simply a slanderous lie.”

This morning on FOX it was reported that Soros is backing Kasich with a $200K donation.

Kasich was asked about it and didn’t deny it.

Cruz is the stealth insider pretending to be an outsider. He has worked in government most of his adult life. He and his wife worked for Dubya. Neil Bush has joined the Cruz campaign. Cruz gets his money from Goldman Sachs, Club for Growth, and a billionaire hedge fund sugar daddy.

Cruz can’t be trusted on trade and immigration.

Cruz is the best man for the job.

Unfortunately that job is now known not to be president, vice president, a cabinet member, a SCOTUS justice, a senator, a congressman, a governor, a mayor, a city council member, or a member of the local school board.

Other than that, what a guy...

You remind me of that wonderful, old Aerosmith song.. “dream on, dream on, dream on...” Only your dream can’t come true.

Ted Cruz is the most conservative BUT that makes him the least electable. You’re kidding yourself if you don’t realize that.

Re: Kellyanne Conway’s establishment remark yesterday:

Just occured to me.. this is the first defense/explanation for the hiring of Team Bush which was fatal for me and Cruz thought it was no big deal. Does team Cruz seem nervous, worried? No.... because Trump/Cruz really did make a deal so the results both teams want are a done deal, the two men really ARE going to take out the gop-e. Cruz got stuck with the good-cop role. That’s why neither side apologizes for anything: they’ve rigged the election.

Ted Cruz has no experience in his past that would qualify him as president. Supreme Court Justice yes.

Plus he’s still has this eligibility question lurking over his head.

Sorry but that’s the way things are.

Cruz should stay in all the way through the convention.

Kasich and Rubio should drop out.

The most likely scenario is that Cruz arrives with many fewer delegates than does Trump. But Trump doesn’t have a majority. So Cruz exacts a price (some worthy conservative Principle). With that in his pocket, Cruz then throws his support to Trump as a unity candidate. I think that is the best and most likely play at this point. Cruz wins something for his conservative supporters, and lives to win another day, without angering further or disenfranchising Trump supporters.

The less likely scenarios are several. Trump could still do something so outrageous he loses outright. Cruz could grind out a campaign that approaches Trump’s delegate count, solicits the Rubio and Kasich delegates’ votes and wins a delegate vote count (though I don’t recommend this; it’s toxic).

Tick tick tick. Time is getting short. It is almost certainly a Trump ticket. That’s fine. We beat the Uniparty to a pulp, did Trump and Cruz. Their best guy was Rubio? Ha! We win, they lose.

And that is why his winning Illinois and Missouri will be big news. He will also do well in North Carolina. Florida and Ohio will not go to Cruz, it is true, but the point of today’s election for Cruz is first and foremost to take Rubio and Kasich out of the race. That will succeed.

Nonsense. Cruzer have to lower expectations to the basement to claim any victory today. The big prizes are Ohio/Florida and Cruz is once again totally noncompetitive. Meanwhile, Trump is battling a sitting governor down to the wire and apparently drubbing a sitting Senator in his home state.
