During a Donald Trump rally in Fayetteville, North Carolina last week John Franklin McGraw punched a protestor being taken out of the event. He has been charged with assault and Trump is looking into how he can pay for McGraw's legal fees as a defendant.
In the past, Trump has said protestors should be "taken out on stretchers" and that they should be "punched in the face." He's also said he will pay the legal fees of those who choose to engage protestors in a violent, physical manner.
Now, the Cumberland County Sheriff's Department is looking into whether Donald Trump should be charged with inciting violence. The news was first reported by local WRAL.

I don’t remember Donald ever inciting violence. I distinctly heard him say on several occasions to “get them out of here” but to be careful to not use violence.
I never heard him say they should be punched in the face. He may have alluded to some who would like to punch protestors in the face but I have only heard him say not to use violence.
“I’m having my people look into it.”
His lawyers’ job is to answer: How can I do this?
Not: Can I do this?

It appears to be true that the fools in Cumberland County did in fact “consider” filing charges. But now it later appears these fools have back off.
Too bad. The publicity of a show trial with Trump defending the First Amendment (and winning) against a bunch of hick political hack scumbag Democrat a$$hats would be priceless.
I guess the above might have gone into their “consideration”.
Trump’s lawyers will own him before sundown.
