You need to consider the possibility that Trump WILL have the numbers and that they will change the delegate count rules as they themselves who made the rules to allow.

Trump is as able as anyone to get enough delegates to win in the subsequent rounds and in fact would probably have the best chance because he will be closest to a majority.
