I think this is true. I think the plan all along was to have Jeb! be the designated loser to Clinton.
Now they are trying to sabotage the party from within.

UniParty Would Rather Have Crony Cap Hillary Clinton as President Than TrumpFixed the headline. Let's be honest here.
If they steal the election for Hillary, I fear the consequences.

Yeb! was supposed to be the gracious Designated Loser, but he was so pathetic they couldn’t make it look legitimate to nominate him.
The most important thing to the RNC/GOP is to prevent the citizens from electing a President who stops the illegal alien inundation.
We have been forced to vote for amnesty candidates in every election since the last amnesty.
In this election, I initially thought they had 15 of 17 candidates, but it is increasingly looking like they had 16 out of 17 candidates.
Trump is the only one serious about stopping The Cheap Labor Express.

While the GOPe would prefer Cankles over Trump, she is a socialist and he’s the crony capitalist.

I'm not surprised at all, coming from Virginia. Ollie North was sabotaged by the GOPe in 1994 by Senator John Warner(R), after Ollie won the primary for Senator. Warner recruited a fellow GOPe name Marshal Coleman to run as an independent and did just enough damage to cause Ollie to lose his Senate bid.
It's part of their DNA - I've not been a registered Republican since. Team is all one way with the GOPe - glad the rest of the country is finally learning...

Republican politicians willingly handed over their manhood to Barack Obama.
They will be be perfectly content as Hillary’s castrated eunuchs.
The Donald will be too demanding as president.
He will expect them to regrow their spines and actually stand up for America.
He will stop some of their graft, kickbacks and sweetheart deals.
It is just too unbearable to think of that happening.

Hillary would be the best thing that ever happened to the Republican Party establishment.
Hillary would keep voters incensed , allowing Republicans to scare and anger their constituents and to keep their sleazy protection racket going to extort billions of dollars in campaign contributions to “stop Hillary Clinton” just like they have with Barak Obama.
Democrats do the same thing to their base as well.
The Democrats and Republican establishments have set up a nice little two way protection racket to extort money out of voters and business people and neither side wants to see that lucrative protection racket shut down

Not sure about the “designated loser” role of Jeb but the establishment wins with either Jeb or Hilliary as they are both CFR candidates. Trump and Cruz are outsiders and aren't in the “plan.”
