Moveon.Org raising funds from Trump protests, warns more disruptions to come

Moveon.Org is conducting fundraising activities from the Chicago protests against Donald Trump that prompted the Republican presidential front-runner to cancel a rally there Friday, and promises that more disruptions are on the way.

“Last night, without consulting local police, Donald Trump abruptly cancelled a rally in Chicago in the face of massive and overwhelmingly peaceful student-led protests,” MoveOn.org wrote in an email Saturday to members. “We’re being flooded with aggressive emails and social media posts from Trump supporters. Some of them are threatening. We refuse to be intimidated by Donald Trump, Fox News, or anyone else.”

The email asked members to donate $3 to help the effort. The progressive group is funded by billionaire George Soros, and has endorsed Democratic candidate Vermont Sen. Bernard Sanders for president.

“Well, ya you do because ALL the other candidates are backing MoveOn and BLM and blaming Trump.”

That is the damn truth.

You win the prize for the dumbest post of the day.

Wahoo...!!!

We Cruz supporters try hard...: )

BTW, I've seen lots of dumb posts by Trump supporters ....

I'm always amazed at the super human feats Trump is capable of based off his supporters projection of his power and influence...

- If need be, he will build the wall himself with his own money...
- He needs to kick Angela Merkel out of Germany...
- Random unrelated worldwide events that happen because of the "The Trump Effect"

I could go on...

The GOP really needs to be against this. Cruz/Rubio/Kasich have decided to side with the rioters. I just hope they change their tune quickly.

If they conspire to violence, then they can and should be cited for RICO violations. I also smell the stench of professional agitators here, leftist AstroTurf, like Spartacus League, Bob Avakian's RCP, Young Communists, Socialist Workers Party, etc.

Trump must do his part and immediately quit fanning the flames from the dais with clearly irresponsible and inciteful comments which the Bolshevik. and Anarchist scumbags in the street are using to their advantage to foment violence and construct devastating negative narrative optics about Trump. He plays right into their hands and somebody is going to get killed, and the fault will be placed before his feet by the MSM 24/7. This is how they operate, you have to fight on the high ground. Surprised Trump does not know this.

What makes them think any of their people can come up with $3?

If they can, they’ll have to wait until their welfare check comes in.

Just checking in on this thread. I’m sure someone has stated that moveon.org is who/what Trump should sue, and throw in all the other conspirators as well.

There is one possibility for a law suit. All the people whose rights were denied and who lost the time, effort & expenses they incurred for the rally, should file a class-action suit against all the parties involved in the disruption.

“we should all sign up for Moveon.org and get their emails of rallies. Then we can anti-rally.”

I keep wondering my some of our younger people aren’t doing this. If I were young enough I would be in the middle of them devising ways to spy and sabotage their efforts without them knowing who was doing it. It would be fun to put cogs in their wheels while making it seems like accidents, etc.

I think a lawyer can determine to file the suit IF he/she could find enough Trump rally attendees to sign on to the suit and split the fee. I’m not a lawyer and certainly don’t know the law, but I have see many more suits that had much less standing.

Yep. I remember we did this to Al Gore...we got his conference # with the press and we all called in and asked questions he couldn’t answer as if we were the press.

*we should all sign up for Moveon.org *

well, a similar article in the Jewish Business News tells us how to do that - page down to the screen capture of craigslist Cleveland for pay rates for junior agitators and senior agitators.

It was your boy Cruz who was blaming Trump instead of Soros’s thugs for the near riot and made no effort to defend First Amendment principles. We all saw whose side Cruz chose to take. But I suppose you see Soros’s people going insane trying to stop Trump by any means possible as a sign that Trump and Soros are in bed together. I’m really not even surprised anymore at some of the insane things I read online.

These people are nuts. End of story.

Reading any comment here suggesting Trump is responsible, is so sad, they’ve fallen for the media game and here I thought intelligent people could stand tall against this garbage.
