Moveon.Org is conducting fundraising activities from the Chicago protests against Donald Trump that prompted the Republican presidential front-runner to cancel a rally there Friday, and promises that more disruptions are on the way.

“Last night, without consulting local police, Donald Trump abruptly cancelled a rally in Chicago in the face of massive and overwhelmingly peaceful student-led protests,” MoveOn.org wrote in an email Saturday to members. “We’re being flooded with aggressive emails and social media posts from Trump supporters. Some of them are threatening. We refuse to be intimidated by Donald Trump, Fox News, or anyone else.”

The email asked members to donate $3 to help the effort. The progressive group is funded by billionaire George Soros, and has endorsed Democratic candidate Vermont Sen. Bernard Sanders for president.

There are reports that he consulted with police before making this decision everywhere. Liars as usual...

They denied the thousands who came to hear Trump his/their 1st Amendment rights.

This is how they operate. They shut down speech they don't like. They create chaos and then blame it on the opposition.

The same tactics the brown shirts used in Germany.

This will attract the attention of the Secret Service and they should arrest members of Move-on.

< H.R. 347, which updated existing protest regulations in 2011, makes it a federal crime punishable by up to 10 years in prison to “impede or disrupt the orderly conduct of government business or official functions” — and that applies to a candidate if they’re under Secret Service guard.

Which was written to protect Obama's interests not anyone else's obviously.

I look forward to President Trump and President Putin discussing George Soros. I think that problem will be eliminated. One way or another.

And it will backfire BIGTIME on Soros.

Not that I sincerely hope you are correct...

I won't place a bet it will backfire...

The left are masters at manipulating the narrative and do everything with long term goals...

These events were planned long ago with multiple backup plans as the scenarios changed daily...

Trump is walking into a upcoming buzzsaw

I think he is finally realizing the games the GOPe are playing are kids play compared to what the progressive will do...

" The Ends Justify the Means" is not a cute saying...

Can’t he get a restraining order against move-on given the violence of their activities in Chicago? A Democrat would know how to legally handle this to the disadvantage of the protesters. They are breaking the law.

As much as I detest Trump for his lying and buffoonery, I detest these leftist jackwipes more, MUCH more.

I am a Cruz supporter and I concur with your assessment of the leftists who have demonstrated that they have no use for the rule of law. These are the same malcontents who agitate in Ferguson, at college campuses, at Occupy Wall Street, at BLM. This is their standard MO.

This segment of society has been so coddled by the corrupt MSM and by the Democrat Party who tacitly supports them in return for their votes. But I will tell you that such activism is good for Republicans and may likely help Trump. Let me give you an example.

Governor Scott Walker faced a very contentious recall election. The opposition collected 1 million signatures to force a recall. One million signatures in a state with something like 3 million registered voters (5.5 million state population). I thought Walker was a goner. These militants had protests at the state capitol with something on the order of 10,000 or more angry people. The protests, with lesser numbers of people, continued for weeks. Day after day the news was covering these protests.

Ultimately, as you know, Walker won the recall vote and for much the same reason the protests against Trump will also not be successful.

The protesters way overplayed their hand. People saw these massive disruptive crowds complete with people bussed in and this galvanized the rest of the state to stand with Walker. I believe the same thing could happen here. Many people will see the destructiveness and bitterness of these professional protestors and it will galvanize many additional people who were marginally supportive to now cast their lot with Trump and against the agitators.

I also believe that there are many people in this country who see what the Ferguson crowd did; what the BLM crowd is doing, coupled with the knock-out game, and people are done. They are tired of the racial disparity, the campus stuff and I believe, while they may not publicly comment on such matters for fear of backlash, they will certainly weigh in with their vote.

But, but the media is saying these aren’t organized - I guess they believe Hillary that they are spontaneous disruptions most likely instigated by a You Tube Video.

The media is covering up these "spontaneuous" disruptions.

Trump rally in Chicago Disrupted and Shut Down by “Tolerant” and “Diverse” Protesters, Soros-funded MoveOn.org Responsible
2016-03-12

By Red Ice

Editor’s comment: Not one leftie presidential rally was disrupted by Trump supporters, yet thousands of so called ‘tolerant free speech activists’ crash Trump. Looking at the number of hateful, violent, racist antiWhites protesting, it should be no doubt why like minded White people want to separate into their own territory. The Balkanization of America is inevitable thanks to diversity.

Meanwhile, CNN keeps reporting how ‘diverse” Chicago is. Exactly, diversity always leads to violence and chaos.

Anti-Whites don’t want to end “White supremacy.” They want to end White people! Hopefully White people in Chicago will begin to realize they are hated simply for existing. Nothing will ever be enough.

Only “tolerant” Bernie leftists can have the privilege to disrupt the democratic process, without any consequences, while playing the suppressed underdog, claiming the moral high-ground, as they at the same time proudly push the idea of an open society, democracy and free speech.

we should all sign up for Moveon.org and get their emails of rallies. Then we can anti-rally. Also if they pay for their crowd we may make some small money.

In this age of the smartphone, look for more “spontaneous” video filming.

If Cruz and Rubio don’t think that the Left will come for them if either of them rise substantially as a threat to the Left, they are sadly mistaken.

“When they came for me, there was no one left to speak up.”

Left wing pressure groups disrupting the rallies of their opponents.

Where have we seen this scenario before?

Oh, they’ll come after whomever is leading the way for Republicans. Of this I am sure. Look at how they went after Bush. They have had way too much success under Obama with absolutely no consequences — other than getting White House invitations.

I think the lefties know they are likely to lose the White House in November and will be fight like caged animals. Obama will have police departments stand down, or co-opt police departments with sympathetic federal law enforcement agencies.

It is very possible that the leftists will seek to make the Republican convention worse than 1968.
