Ohio Gov. John Kasich stuck by his desire for a path to legalization for illegal immigrants in the United States during a Q&A with the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday.
He described the idea of deporting millions of illegal immigrants from the U.S. as unacceptable.
"The idea that we're going to pick these people up and ship them out is unbelievable," Kasich said. "It's just not acceptable in America."
Kasich, eighth in the Washington Examiner's power rankings, did not explicitly rule out a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants during his remarks to the Hispanic group, but said he would be satisfied with a path to legalized status for such immigrants.

“It’s just not acceptable in America.”
Yes it is.
It’s a must.
Maybe not acceptable to you but plenty acceptable to me.
Yes it is, John. Yes it is.
Si se puede!!
L
His inner RINO is shining through...
This and support for TPP....Kasich is fully on board the Cheap Labor Express.
deport even their anchor children. Now that is acceptable
If I were trump, I would make the workers of Ohio well aware of Kasich’s position. It should go over REAL WELL with working class people who are losing jobs over competition from illegals.
I guess Kasich thinks the illegals are more valued than a citizen of this country.
Get used to it John.
And you can join them if you want to.
Illegals and immigrants vote for socialism and bigger government. They are why the USA has moved to the left. Read Ann Coulter’s book .She explains it better than anyone.
Self deportation is more acceptable. Don’t hire them, they will leave.
In some ways they are. In many jurisdictions, traffic tickets are ignored. Those dependent on handouts for their livelihood can commit moderate offenses (not gross felonies) without a hit to that livelihood, unlike a normal productive citizen who would be put through the ringer. Their children can go to many state schools and receive in-state tuition. And so on... we could start a list.
And he’s winning Ohio...
No they won’t.
Forced deportation is more satisfying but you're right - cut off the reasons for their presence and they will leave - in detail.
Anyone who promises deportation is probably engaging in campaign hype.
Inner RINO? This guy is a poster child for what ails that party.
so .... following the law is not acceptable?
got it.
see ya John!
It’s politicians like this idiot that, by saying things like this to portray themselves as “compassionate” are only encouraging another several million to pour over the border. If we talk like saps, keep electing saps. . .then the nation will continue to be PLAYED FOR SAPS by millions and millions who will come here to suck the nation dry.
