Cruz compared Trump to Obama on NBC this morning.

“Cruz also compared the “demagoguery” of Trump to President Obama, who he called “a world class demagogue” for his language “designed to divide us.”

Cruz has a lot more in common with Obama than Trump does!
What’s really funny about that is that Cruz IS comparable...
1st term do nothing senator, with NO executive experience. Tied in with Wall Street. Harvard alumni and lies like Obama....and we KNOW TED was born on foreign soil! Both from dysfunctional families too!

“Cruz also compared the “demagoguery” of Trump to President Obama, who he called “a world class demagogue” for his language “designed to divide us.”

Cruz is pulling out all the stops in an attempt to destroy Trump. He now calls Trump corrupt. This is the sign of a Cruz campaign in desperation.

"Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are the flip side of the same coin

Snip: They are Washington. They are power. They are big business. They are corruption," Cruz said.

Obama: " Get in your neighbor's FACE"

Obama: " If they bring knives, we will bring GUNS"

TRUMP:"I'd like to PUNCH then in the face"

TRUMP " I could shoot somebody and I wouldn't lose voters"

TRUMP: ""So if you see somebody getting ready to throw a tomato, knock the crap out of them," Trump said at his rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

"I will pay for the legal fees. I promise," he added. "They won’t be so much because the courts agree with us too."

Yep.. I'd compare him to Obama too...

Cruz compared Trump to Obama on NBC this morning.

A fair comparison. Neither Obama nor Trump is dumb enough to visit such odd places on camera. Cruz is.

Donald J. trump:

From the mouth of Donald Trump:

January 23 - “I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters.”

November 22, “Maybe he should have been roughed up . . . “

February 1 - “If you see somebody getting ready to throw a tomato, knock the crap out of them, just knock the hell out of them. I promise you, I will pay for the legal fees.”

February 23 - “I’d like to punch him in the face, I tell ya.”

“I love the old days. You know what they used to do to guys like that when they were in a place like this? They’d be carried out on a stretcher, folks.”

Now, Sen. Ted Cruz:

This is exactly what Cruz said.

“It is my hope that going forward we will have a substantive, issue-based discussion, where we can have differences about how we turn this country around, that we do so in a way that appeals to our better angels instead of our worst instincts,” Cruz continued. “That seeks to pull us together, and unite us, instead of tear us apart. You know, we’ve seen for seven years a president who often at times of crisis, has sought to divide us, sought to divide us on ethnic lines, on religious lines, on class lines. America’s better than this. We don’t have to tear each other apart.”

Asked if Trump should have gone ahead with the rally, Cruz paused for a moment, then said the decision should have been based on public safety.

“But I think a campaign bears responsibility for creating an environment when the candidate urges supporters to engage in physical violence, to punch people in the face,” said Cruz. “The predictable consequence of that is that it escalates, and today is unlikely to be the last such instance. We saw, earlier today, in St. Louis, over 30 arrested. That’s not how our politics should occur. You know, the city of Chicago in 1968 saw some ugly days, when politics descended into hatred and incivility and even violence. It is my hope that in 2016 we can appeal to our better angels, to avoid going down that road once again.” - Ted Cruz

Both from dysfunctional families. Wow, nice to see your prejudice show.
Trump, OTOH, has lead a perfectly functional life. Never making a single mistake.
It’s certainly wonderful to see conservatives ‘lash out’ when their candidate is lied about.
Perhaps this country deserves Hilary. There’s plenty acting like liberals on this site.

We can only hope that the diminishing number of Cruzers on FR will have the self-respect and respect for others to deactivate their FR accounts after Tuesday. They are in the wrong place. They belong on Moveon.org., OR---is there a site for no-info voters---voters who select their candidate without making any attempt to learn anything (which makes me think there's a lot of illiteracy among the Cruzers here.)

I have only one correction, Aunt B. You are being too kind to say that Cruz is tied to Wall Street. He is JOINED AT THE HIP with Wall Street, the Cheap Labor Express, open borders, North American Union, TPP, etc.

I think what we're hearing now from Ted is a death rattle.

I guess Heidi won't be promoted to full partner at Goldman Sachs. Ted's going to have to carry a lot of water in the Senate now for a lot of the Donor Class who have prepaid him tens of millions for influenced based on him becoming president.

NO MORE LAWYERS. No more professional career politicians. No more Washington Elite Insider Class Oligarchy of Ivy League Lawyers, the 1/10th% of the 1%: The Government Class.

The only good thing I see on FR is that many have REALIZED, have seen the light, took the red pill and realized what it took visionary Trump to realize: the Conservative/V/Liberal paradigm is 20th century, it's gone as we knew it. We are now in an EXISTENTIAL paradigm of GLOBALISM versus PATRIOTISM. Without a country our conservatism won't matter. With Globalism, there will be no country to advocate conservative causes in.
