Obama and Cruz are both Harvard Law grads, both were editors of the Harvard Law Review. Cruz and Obama were party insiders since shortly after leaving school. Neither one has spent much time in the private sector. Both of their wives got hefty promotions when hubby was elected to the Senate. Cruz and Obama were both 1/2 term Senators when they decided to run for President while neither one is constitutionally qualified for the office. There are more similarities I can see between Cruz and Obama than there are between either one and Trump.
