CNN’s Tapper, Trump Battle Over Rally Protests: ‘Report it Right’
Breitbart ^ | 3/13/2016 | Pam Key

Posted on 03/13/2016 7:22:29 AM PDT by 20yearsofinternet

Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” after an extensive questioning from host Jake Tapper on the recent protests and violence at his rallies, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said he was not encouraging violence and accused CNN of misreporting.

Partial transcript as follows:

TAPPER: Now, protests on the campaign trail are obviously nothing new. I have seen one in every previous election I have covered, but in every one I have seen before the leader on the stage tries to lower the temperature, not raise it. Do you ever consider whether you should be trying to lower the temperature when these protests erupt?

TRUMP: I think in many cases I do lower the temperature. I tell the police, please take it easy when people are punching the police and trying to hurt people. When I say things like I’d like to punch him, frankly, this was a person that was absolutely violent and was like a crazed individual. A lot of them are — you know, I don’t even call them protesters. I call them disrupters. A lot of them come from Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT)16%, whether he wants to say it or not, and if he says no, then he’s lying. Bernie Sanders, they have Sanders signs all over the place and they’re made by the same people that make the regular Bernie sanders signs. They’re professionally made. And we have great rallies. We have by far the biggest rallies. We have 25,000, 30,000 people at rallies and out of that you’ve had very little problem.

He really has no room to push back with all his statement in the past encouraging supporters to beat em up and he would pay the legal fees. Now in you blinded support of him can you deny he ever said that?

So, biff - you don't believe in the First Amendment Right of Free Speech, either, like the Left, and like cRuzBio & Kasich.

You going to join the illegal conspiracy againsy Trump's Free Speech Rights at the next Trump speech?

Sure, he said it. In your blind derangement against Trump, can you admit that you’re suggesting people should roll over when violent leftists organize to disrupt people exercising their First Amendment rights? You side with Hillary, Cruz, BLM, and the entire MSM that it’s Trump’s fault that communist agitators are rioting and provoking hostility to damage the GOP frontrunner?

I’m sorry, I thought we’ve been waiting for 30 years for someone who would finally stand up to the intimidation of the leftists. Guess I was wrong and there are plenty out there who think the GOP nominee should be the candidate who is best at tucking tail and backing down every time someone gets offended. Silly me.

Trump did actually warn Bernie about that exact thing at the KC rally...if he didn’t lay off sending his supporters, then Trump would start sending his. Then he said ‘no we don’t do that type of thing’.

Watch out for agents provocateurs. Berlin’s burnouts can easily disrupt themselves and blame Trump.

I’ll be honest - they may support Sanders but I suspect it is another candidate (or two, or three) organizing and financing this.

This feels Clintonian, with perhaps a smattering of GOPe for leavening.

I’m all in favor of throwing down with these domestic terrorists that purposely try to ruin my evening listening to trump. The media has no regard for me and my safety-only the safety of university punks and poor poor black people. So time to play for keeps.

But he denies his suggestion of doing same is not a promotion of violence. Which is BS, like denying killing somebody whilst holding the bloody knife.

I do not blame him for saying what he did, I feel the same way. It is the denial that is ignorant.

Two things I’ve notices about Trump.

1. He is amazingly on message. Tapper drags him into the violence meme and he simply goes to what he wants to say about illegal immigration or his talking points. He is very good at that lately.

2. He accuses the media in this case CNN of being the trouble makers.

Trump uses the air time to make a commercial at the media’s expense. Awesome discipline on Trump’s part.

You could see Tapper was visibly upset at being played like that.

The take away is that Trump is going to do what needs to be done, even if the devil and hell try to bar his way. No Jake Tapper, no body, is going to prevent him from doing the right thing and using truth as his shield, which always wins out in the end. Soft and gentile will not restore this country from the depths it's in. Neither will naysayiing, wobbly knees, and limp noodle spines save Her. It's time to get the job done now or we are done for as a country and that is not an overstatement or being melodramatic. Standup against these anarchists who are the fascist brown shirts of yore, now attempting to physically squelch any thought or speech they dislike in this country. For goodness sake, just look at what brazen fascist AG Lynch wants to do with “deniers” of so called global warming. Next come the prisoner gulags for forced political correct thought reform.

Tapper is the SOB who started the whole KKK/David Duke nonsense that went on for two weeks. An ass of the first degree.
