Agreed, tho it seems that the GOP has gone over to the dark side...remember when they actually fought against Obamacare in 2010. That was the last time I recall them standing against anything!

My mother was so embarrassed by being on food stamps in 1967, she had me walk to the store about a mile from our house, and do the shopping, then ride in a cab back to the house. I was between the fourth or fifth grades at the time, so that would put me at 10 years old.
It cracks me up when someone says Trump is no Reagan. Well 2016 isn’t 1980 either. pft.

Sorry, I just got back to my computer. Was spending time with my wife and kids. I missed yesterday’s and the rallies this morning. I have a lot of reading to do, if anyone can summarize to save me some time I would appreciate it. I’ll send my ping out for the final rally today in a little bit.

Even Stevie wonder can see the GOP members of Congress are by and large compromised and corrupt—which is why Obama gets everything he wants without a fight.
Well, I have spent lots of time at UIC for sporting events..my kids considered attending UIC, etc. I really did not see it as that dangerous of a venue...As I said, I was truly in wrong place at wrong time. Also, these thugs were not student protesters. They were seething mad...full of hate towards us. As I said in another post, I have a hunch the Trump supporters in the car in front of me where the ambush began did something to set the crowd off...waving a sign, flipping the bird, etc. some people are so stupid....
Tho I was with a friend, there was a woman who arrived at rally late seated near us and was alone...Hope she got home safely.
LOL I have bear spray for camping...just didn’t have it in friends car...don’t think she had any pepper spray. I usually keep a multi tool in my car and small one on key chain along with pepper spray, but I divested of that stuff because in Iowa, we were warned that it would be confiscated by security.
Pretty sure absolutely no Firearms allowed in state facilities...Concealed Carry just passed to some limited extent in the City.
Frightening that after the rally was cancelled and chaos broke out on the floor, there was one fight where it looked like a thug was trying to take gun away from a police officer.
It's called pride. Does it exist today? :-(.

Oh, Liz is bright, for sure. She is TOO close to the guy who owns Rubio and mentored Paul Ryan...Cesar Conda, who was domestic policy adviser for Dick Cheney as VP.
Liz did us no good in foreign policy for Bush either, just tangled us up with the Arabs even worse.
And no, the Cheney’s don’t endorse Trump...they liked Jeb and Dick likes....ready for this...JOE BIDEN.

Did anybody listen to the MSNBC interview of the protest organizer in Chicago? She basically introduced this guy as a hero, she equated him with the Courage the civil rights movement showed, this guy spoke of a highly organized move.org rally that started weeks ago. Their intent was to shut down the Trump rally.
Not once in this interview did she ask him if this action was an infringement on Mr. Trump’s first amendment rights, not once did this reporter ask why he felt it neccessary to violate an Americans right to free speech, instead she cuddled up to him and treated him like he was some bizarre hero,
my friends this is what’s is going on today in our country, this guy admitted that they people inside to disrupt the rally, our secret service is going to allow this?
That’s probably true.
Trump made the succinct point that our, his, and the audiences first amendment rights were completely denied by disruptors exercising their first amendment rights.
There are some excellent posts with Ann Coulter’s stinging tweets, immolating Kasich and Rubio, in the 900 post range, and Mike Huckabee destroyed the so far unindicted coconspirator, Hillary Rodham Clinton with a zinger worth finding in about the same 900 post range.
