Agree with you about the rank and file supporters not celebrating this, but Neil Bush of the Cruz campaign is already out there blaming Trump. Look for Rubio’s people to quickly follow suit.
If they do (especially Cruz) will will drop his name from my tagline because I know this is more about whoever the republican front runner is than it is about Donald Trump. Tonight would have been the same if it were Ted Cruz who was the front runner and scheduled his rally there tonight.
Any candidate that fails to see that is either too dishonest or too stupid for me to support.
I doubt that he "knew" this would go from "protest" to "threatening attack." Once the physical menace reached the level where security said NO, proceeding with the event wasn't his call anymore.
If he - or his staff - are as sharp as I think they are, this will benefit him in the long run.
