Trump Missouri poll ping
Tiny sample. Must have cut if off so giving the worst results for Trump.
Who the hell does a poll of 200 people??
Good! I hope this holds!
It gets even better. The Democrats polled were something like 175 and this was sponsored by 5 or 6 different newspapers. You’d think they could produce something credible out of MO.
I don’t know where the MO Cruz voters were today, but there was a mile long line of people waiting to get one of the 3,000 tickets to hear Trump speak at 1:30
(despite having 1/3 of his speaking time disrupted by protesters, Trump turned them into part of his speech about incivility and lawlessness and why the folks need to take back America)
208? That is nothing!!! And I bet they are paid big money to ask 208 people their opinion!
It’s better to be in front than behind, but it’s also better to worst case it due to the huge MOE. It is a virtual tie, but Trump has a bullet
MO is a bellwether state... its a microcosm of America and its demographics fall in line with the country as a whole.
I expect Trump to win the Show Me State next week.
Got a call from the Pfizer PAC yesterday. Automated. Gave Trump the highest ratings and everyone as low as possible.
I saw some of that on TV at lunch...
I’m a Cruz supporter. I’m also an avid College football fan.
You don’t step into someones stadium looking to stir up trouble unless you want to leave the stadium bruised and bloody. The troublemakers should be arrested for inciting a riot. That was just wrong. I don’t blame the trump supporters for what happened and I don’t blame trump.
I will say this - Cruz has run into situations like this and chose to bring the troublemakers closer and talk to them. I don’t think the situation today was anything at all like that occasion, but it would be a great moment for trump if he could do the same.
Nice graphics at the link. Graphics are beside the point if the data sample is too small.
Fort Hayes University is in western Kansas.
I heard about an internal poll last week that Trump is winning in EVERY congressional district in the State.
Youd think they could produce something credible out of MO.
Three of the news papers are liberal (The St Louis Post Disgrace, The Kansas City Red Star and The Springfield News Loser) and perhaps others.
It depends on the protestors
Most don’t come to talk , they come to dominate and shut down what they disagree with
There is no dialogue with these people
Or they are being paid to do a job and it is not engaging in dialogue, it is shutting down political rallies
Trump actually noted that some of the STL protestors sat down and started listening to his speech . It was a good speech
He noted several times how gently the police were treating the anarchists they removed and praised them for their service
I still remember Chicago and 1968. Mayor Daley was not gentle
The August poll formerly referenced by RCP, contained this:MISSOURI AUGUST 2015 Combined (1st + 2nd Choices) Trump 33% Cruz 20% Rubio 15% Kasich 7% |
The Dec 18-19 poll by MOscout of 1,528 likely GOP Primary voters:MISSOURI DECEMBER 2015 Trump 33% Cruz 23% Rubio 12% Kasich 1% |
Recent continuous-polling by iSideWith.com has also been: MISSOURI Feb-March 2016 (latest 30 days) Trump 35% Cruz 18% Rubio 21% Kasich 7% |
The iSideWith.com data also breaks down each candidate's strength per district,
so Donald's and Ted's delegate haul can be estimated as follows:
Likely Likely Trump Cruz Trump Cruz Rubio Kasich Delgates Delegates District 1 34% 16% 16% 13% 5 0 District 2 32% 14% 25% 11% 5 0 District 3 39% 17% 20% 7% 5 0 District 4 33% 16% 20% 8% 5 0 District 5 27% 17% 22% 11% 5 0 District 6 32% 19% 12% 12% 5 0 District 7 23% 25% 19% 4% 0 5 District 8 49% 16% 11% 4% 5 0 statewide winner...................... 9 0 === == Total Delgates: 44 5
Donald needs to paint Missouri RED if he wants to connect sea-to-shining-sea.
So what’s going on there right now?
Looks like early on:
Trump - 38.8%
Cruz - 32.8%
