In Yet Another Secret Side Deal, Iran’s Nuclear Violations Won’t Be Publicly Disclosed

On Monday, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) director general Yukiya Amano explained what had up to this point been a mystery: namely, why its recent reports on Iran’s nuclear program have been so vague and contain such little data. As it turns out, under the Iran nuclear deal or Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), there are now limitations on what the IAEA is allowed to report.

According to Amano, due to new U.N. Security Council and IAEA resolutions, the agency will only monitor and verify Iran’s compliance with its JCPOA commitments and will no longer provide broad reporting on its nuclear program. A December 15, 2015, IAEA Board of Governors resolution [1]directed the organization to cease reporting on Iran’s compliance with its Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty obligations and past Security Council resolutions because the Board of Governors is no longer seized of this matter.

You get the feeling that if Obama was a lawyer and his client was charged with shoplifting, he could “negotiate” the case into the death penalty.

At the risk of sounding naive, how can Congress allow this to continue? If the whole thing was sold on a fraudulent premise of transparency and rigorous enforcement, its just insane to simply let it proceed apace.

Its too late

The cat is out of the bag - sanctions have been dropped and will never be re imposed and Iran has all of its frozen assets in its possession

Obama and Kerry deserve to impeached and so do much of our Congressional leaders on both sides if the aisles.

That's best case scenario

If we knew the truth about what really happened with the Iran deal we would probably insist that the key players be tried and convicted of treason and hung at dawn

I say that in all seriousness

Hussein is looking forward to the U.S and Israel being nuked. So you KNOW he won’t be anywhere on the mainland when it happens. Probably shortly after Jan. 20, 2017.

I take you at your word, but I can’t imagine why you’d want to wait a whole night?

To give the guilty parties time to reflect and contemplate their impending doom.

Patience is a virtue in this case

Until some cities in the middle east and west disappear under some very ugly mushroom clouds. Then it might get a tad little bit hard to not talk about.

Are you aware that the various Iranian sanctions in place were controlled sole by the President of the United States.

The sanctions have been upheld by five previous American Presidents

Obama could at any time have dropped sanctions and released frozen assets on Iran unilaterally, without even bothering to notify Congress

Congress cut a deal to try to re assert some measure of veto power against Obama’s desire to provide aid and comfort to the Iranian regime.

They did the best they could to get terms and the agreement should have prevented Obama from consummating the deal because the secret side deals violate the terms of the agreement

Obama was hell bent on giving Iran the freedom to pursue it's nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs and Obama was adamant about unfreezing their assets to five them money to fund these programs.

Congress tried to enforce the terms of the Iran deal, but Obama just ignored them and illegally went ahead with the deal

The only option Congress had at that point was impeachment, but that will never happen

This is what happens when put the awesome power of the Presidency in the hands of someone like President Obama
