If you’re a winner you win.

If you’re a loser you lose.

And if your name rhymes with lose..., you just tell folks you won.

It would be great if these numbers held, and Trump scored a double digit win in FL and a win in OH as well. Those are the states where that are being bombarded with anti-Trump ads.

I can see the neo-con artists and their open border toadies contemplating jumping out of windows.

The stunning part of this poll is that Cruz is losing to Trump among moderate Republicans 41-5! That’s correct, 41-5! Cruz has absolutely no base of support outside of very conservative voters and evangelicals. He cannot win a general election, the polls showing otherwise are false. In fact, this narrative that he will win a 1:1 with Trump is also false. Why would any moderates supporting Kasich all of a sudden become conservative and back Cruz? Cruz is a one trick pony and his time is running out.

Yeah, but I think back in Reagan’s day NY may have still been #1.

That is pretty amazing. Funny, and the GOPe is trying to kill him, even though he is sweeping their “base.”

The best illustration of that is Mississippi where Kasich/Rubio got 14% combined, Trump 47, and Cruz 36.

Let’s say we give Cruz a generous 9 and give Trump 5: the result would be Trump 52 and Cruz 45.

There is an obvious reason why Ted Cruz has a very narrow support base. In my 53 or so years of political observations, I would posit that it is because Cruz does not possess a likable personality, and he does not resonate with wide segment of voters. Only voters who can tolerate his personality is those who are so conservative that they overlook his likability factor.

I like everything Cruz says. I just do not like how he says it. And looking at election results so far, I must be with the majority. Outside of his home state and it’s satellite state, Cruz has failed to win a single standard primary. All his wins are in caucus states, with thin turnouts and voters subjected to hours of time spent with coercion.
