Outsourcing. Trump. China. Lost jobs. Jingjiang City Ondustrial Zone. Textiles. Offshore investment. Globalization. Ivanka Trump. Melania Trump. US job loss. Factories. Slave labor. PLA. Fujian Province. Cheap labor. Bottom Line. "Art of the Deal." Hypocrisy.

Now FORBES is endorsing Trump!

Trump garners more endorsements in a single day than most other candidates in an entire year!

This story only makes sense if Trump closed a hotel in American and shipped it overseas. The comparison here is absolutely absurd.

It would be like saying that as a real estate investor who buys property in different states, that I'm somehow hurting my home state.

Dumb.

If you can figure out how to build a hotel in America and transport it overseas - let us know.

He is the grand hypocrite. If elected POTUS (highly unlikely but always possible in this day of rigged voting machines), the Republic dies.

Trump has been playing by the rules. The rules are in favor of off-shoring.

Trump wants to change the rules to be in America’s favor. They are not now.

So US companies should not build hotels overseas.

Got it

Wow... this is the camel which broke the straw’s back. I’m gonna vote Clinton now. Why bother having hope when you can vote directly for no hope?

When GM moves factories abroad UAW members lose jobs - USA loses.

When Trump builds a hotel overseas, much of the profits wind up with Trump, who is a US citizen - USA gains.

I’m not even a Trump supporter, and I’m scratching my head over this one. Does the author really believe that an auto plant that produces things in a foreign country for import into the U.S. is the same as a hotel in a foreign country?

“There is zero economic difference between, say, a U.S. car company’s investments abroad in factories and Mr. Trump’s own investments abroad in hotels”

Yep, Trump can build those hotels abroad at a cheaper cost, and then bring the hotels on boats back to the United States, and sell them to Americans at a premium price, duty free.

Investing abroad is not the same as outsourcing jobs.
I remember the wailing when Sony (?) was going to buy the Rockefeller Center. I thought, what the hell? It’s not like they can take it home with them.

Building Hotels abroad is “Out Sourcing”? That’s ridiculous.

Also all foreign airports should be located in the U.S., that way we employ Americans an cut down on flight times

“In fact, a significant percentage of his company’s hotels and major real estate properties are located abroad.”

Well Duh. You expect him to build a hotel over here an then ship it over to Tokyo? Or China?
