Perhaps I am cynical but I have sincere doubts that the people who claim to have been for Cruz but switched were ever for Cruz.
It is simply a tactic to make their case seem more real.

I as was for Cruz and donated to him.
Then I changed to Trump but wanted Cruz as his VP and continued to donate to him.
Then I figured out that Cruz is and has been a globalist.
He is what the GOPe has been feeding conservatives for years now.
A social conservative who is also a globalist. Just like George W Bush.
I changed my view of Cruz not at the last debate, but the one before. it was how he got with Rubio which pissed me off.
Since then I thought maybe I will vote for him, then I saw how Cruz was going with the talking points and the establishment and I will now vote for Trump next week here in FL.
My wife was the same , but my boy who can vote for the first time has always been Trump.
Two other neighbors feel the same and one guy I work with.
These attack AD’s against Trump with all their millions is just pissing people off now.
It is a constant barrage of 3 AD’s in a row from the estbalihsment but different PACs

LOL! Mitch and the boys are all on board with circling the wagons around Cruz to defeat Trump. Cruz was never an outsider and some of us knew it. Now we all know.
He has plans to meet with them. Do they have plans to meet with him?
It doesn’t look good for Cruz teaming up with the Establishment.
It won’t be long before this gets out to the voters.
Yes Cruz is on fumes at this point. What other primaries does he have a chance at? Not many. He’s toast. That’s why he said he is fine with a brokered convention.

Yes, I expected better from the South for Cruz but it isn’t happening. The North and the West will not be any better for him.
This campaign season is one that will be remembered for a very, very long time.
