PALM BEACH, Florida – Responding to a caller’s fear that Donald Trump could be an authoritarian president in the mold of Barack Obama, radio host Rush Limbaugh said both the Republican and Democratic Parties will “be talking impeachment on Day Two” of any executive order should Trump win the White House.
“I’m telling you that if Trump gets elected, you’re gonna see more unity between the Republicans and Democrats in stopping any Trump authoritarianism than you have ever seen in your life,” Limbaugh said on his national broadcast Tuesday.
“Because they’re gonna hate it, they’re gonna despise the guy, and they’re gonna align together to stop him if he tries executive orders.”

No he doesn’t, and we don’t need to help the Establishment with ideas, Rush.

They don’t despise the guy, they see him upsetting the cozy money deal they have set up for themselves.
And a bunch of dupes in the general public are falling for it.
If you look at the issues Trump has raised, well, there is no discussion of that because they know if they raise those issues it will get more votes for Trump.
And Rush is not making many (if any) good points these days. He is totally conflicted between what he knows is right and a fear he can’t piss off the ruling elite that could crush him like a bug.
Unfortunately, many think that impeachment is the same as removal. It is not - Conviction and Removal are two separate votes in the Senate, after the House votes Impeachment. Lacking that Impeachment is a presidential slap on the wrist and a major political debacle causing the country harm over a worthless action.
If DJT becomes what so many believe he will become (if he isn’t already) if elected, this will never happen.

ICAM! I read somewhere; several years ago, that Rush got his success in talk radio handed to him by the RNC. I don’t remember where I read it but according to the person who wrote it that Rush agreed to be sort of a waterboy for the Republican party.
