Neil Bush, son of former President George H.W. Bush and brother of former President George W. Bush and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, is joining Cruz's national finance team, the campaign said Tuesday.

My own personal opinion is that if Cruz had leaned on God MORE and on the world LESS, we might have seen a miracle of success by now. Doing things that are, in essence, inviting the devil to his campaign, are going to dilute his advantage through the Big Cheese of Heaven.
Exactly. If Cruz was authentic he would be running away with this contest even with Trump in the race. Very disappointing.
Does not look good. This signals that the Bush clan would rather Cruz win it than Rubio.
The Bush clan doesn’t forgive, and they don’t forget. Trump may have stumped Jeb, but lil’Marco stabbed the Bushies in the back and for that there will be blood.
Eh?
Shut the front door!
Bwahahaha, is this rich or what?
Man, the Cruzettes just refuse to acknowledge reality.
The insider pretending to be an outsider - it doesn’t get any freakin sicker than that.
Go Teddy, bring in ALL the GOPe, I’ll be out in the real world spreading the word. Reality bites!
It might not be absolutely for the worst. The bible says there is wisdom in a multitude of counselors. If he’s just enlarging his team rather than fundamentally modifying its character, this could be a move for the better after all.
The devil (and angels) are in the details.
Any first-term US Senator who thinks the voters made a mistake by sending him to an office too small for his talents is automatically disqualified, IMO.
An enthusiastic evangelical Amen!
Repeat after me:
Ted is not a GOPe insider.
Ted is not a GOPe insider.
Ted is not a GOPe insider.
The guy is tied to the hip with the Bushes, but the no more Bushes doesn’t kick in.
Hell, it’s 2000 all over again.
“Oh, he’s the anointed one.”
Couldn’t talk sense into the Bush supporters the neither,
At least Bush had some executive experience.
This guy doesn’t even have that.
A first term Senator...
Another factor, too, is time.
Cruz might strike out this time. But he might come back later and do a lot better.
The same story, interestingly enough, applies to Trump even though one really has to dig to see a trace of faith in Trump. God can infallibly destine people, making the proverbial tea leaf reading extra interesting. We never know when God will show the proverbial ace up His sleeve.
Well, to be fair, The Cruz supporters told us Trumpsters we would be stunned and disappointed in the future.
I’m just not sure that they meant by Cruz.
Unbelievable.
Well, maybe not.
Yeah. That’s what I thought too.
1. North Korea, just yesterday. threating to attack us with nukes
2.The Iranian's with their newly acquired 150 billion dollars -can simply buy nukes now!
3. Mullah Obama has already begun flying in his preset goal of 170,000 Islamic Muslim rapefugees! How many of these 170,000 will eventually beat, rape and murder our fellow Americans. How many of these 170,000 will arrive here - and eventually pull out machine guns on us.
4. The illegal mexican horde currently here and the illegal mexican hordes always enroute here -taking millions upon millions of jobs from Americans (white, black and hispanic Americans), swarming our schools, bankrupting our hospitals, raping and murdering fellow Americans. [and all the very slimy democrat politicians welcoming them -as potential democrat voters]
I'm voting for Trump!
“Thirty pieces of silver”
Burns on the traitor’s brain;
“Thirty pieces of silver!
Oh! it is hellish gain!”
You people amaze me. You ignore everything Cruz has ever said, what he has done, and the ass he kicked in the Senate, and you hop on a Bush working for him as ‘proof’ he’s establishment.
Well maybe this Bush is a conservative. Or maybe he’s just good with finances. Yeesh.
At the same time Trumps starts back pedaling on immigration, SC nominations and national health care, and you ignore it.
I’m very afraid that Trump is going to screw us if he is elected. I think ya’ll need to look at the risks and not let your anger at what is happening in the US blind you to the real consequences of your votes.
Trump might turn out to be a good president. He might stab us in the back. I can see it either way. But trying to portray Cruz as some kind of GOPe in order to bolster your internal world view is how a leftist thinks. Analyze - do not demonize.
All these Bushies popping up on Team Cruz pretty much confirms it’s a two man race. Cruz and Trump. GOP running Cruz to the right to take down Trump because running from the left failed. Now they’ll shift all the anti-Trump vote to Cruz and hope that’s enough to beat Trump. Careerist Cruz is fine of course playing for Team Romney and Ryan.
Good for Cruz. Shows he can work with the other factions of the party.
What is unprincipled about it? They are members of the same political party.
Maybe one earthly factor that could help would be some kind of positive (not just argued) resolution of the NBC question in favor of people in just his circumstance.
I believe with NBC the biggest problem is that this is an orphaned statutary term. It was present in statute law at the time the Constitutional provision was written, but then that law got revised and the term was removed. Therefore we have to read the proverbial tea leaves, and depending on our angle they will not read the same. Like Trump said: who knows for sure? There are passionate opposing camps, each utterly confident. To get the NBC term back into the statutes would probably be dispositive, at least by an originalist point of view. And would insulate Cruz against at least one source of accusations of hypocrisy.
