It's been a strange 2016 election cycle.
On the Democratic side, it's a contest between a former senator and secretary of state who should and could be indicted at any moment for shocking breeches of national security laws and an avowed socialist who once honeymooned in the Soviet Union.
Pick your poison.
On the Republican side, it's been a wild ride with Donald Trump dominating the news coverage and frequently displaying behavior unprecedented in presidential politics in modern times.
It's been brutally contentious, sometimes ugly and, at times, hilarious.
Technically, there are four candidates still in the hunt for the Republican nomination. But realistically, it's down to two from the original 17.
The Republican presidential nominee is going to be either Donald Trump or Ted Cruz.
While Marco Rubio has been spending money like a contender, he simply hasn't demonstrated that he is more than a place or show candidate - the Minnesota caucuses and the Puerto Rico primary notwithstanding. John Kasich seems like a two-state candidate - having spent more than $30 million and 60 days campaigning in New Hampshire for a second-place finish and hanging around for his home state Ohio vote in hopes of a win....

if the establishment has their way they want Cruz, they are doing all they can to take Cruz out to give Clinton an easier path.
You keep saying that but all the head-to-head polls tell the opposite story. But keep banging that drum if it makes you feel good.
But Reagan was born in America.
Seriously?
Well....Phyllis Schlafly endorsed Trump......Pat Buchanan supports him too!
AND Sheriff Arpiao!!!!!! Woot!!......Endorsed
AND Sarah Palin....Endorsed
AND!!!!!!....Senator Jeff Sessions!!!!!!....woo hoo. Endorsed
I will go with the fact that Cruz came in third in an important swing state VA
Looks to come third in FL another swing state
Could not win a county in VA or other southern states.
Has not got the broad appeal of cross overs, hell I know some who said they will got for Trump , but not Cruz.
Only has won two primary states, his own and OK which is a neighbor, but of course you know this because you are from TX and probably work for the campaign.
Cruz has thousands of major endorsements including at least four senators coming this week.
I know there are some on here and the names of them who had a problem with Obama not being born here, and now because they see a guy who represents TX their home state they now have no problem with Cruz being a Canadian citizen two years ago.
PS....’most Reaganesque vision’.....
Meh......that’s open for debate
What he doesn’t have is Reagan’s wonderful, witty sense of humor!
Donald Trump has that in spades....( especially when he’s relaxed and not having to beat off the jackals!)
Just sayin
course he is getting senators, one said he would vote for Clinton if Trump got it, others are on the establishment and then you state Cruz is not part of the establishment, LOL
Yea right brag away how the GOP is endorsing Cruz
He’s a Republican. What is Don Trump?
Aww Jeez, Joe is the kiss of death
Well, Michael Bloomberg is out, so we do not have the “Ross Perot” effect going this time. In a largely one-on-one race between whomever the Republicans eventually put up as their candidate, and Herself (who, barring a sudden reversal of the Current Regime, becoming a “law and order” supporter, faces no real prospect of indictment), there shall be no widespread “stealing of votes” by going to a third-party candidate.
There is always HUGE potential for fraud, and just about every bit of it will come because of careful manipulation of election results being tallied up without oversight or review by dispassionate observers who are in a position to call out the fraud. Oddly, the successful fraud almost always favors the Democrats, so there is probably no similar offsetting equivalent chicanery by Republicans.
Ill vote for Trump, Cruz and waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down the list Rubio over hillary. But I believe Trump is the only guy that can beat the beast.
Good for Joseph Farrah.
stupid question
Donald Trump is an AMERICAN!
Thanks for letting me know when I upset you and drive you into your safe space and all that. I didn’t realize an endorsement from Farah would get under your skin so much. Must be significant, huh?
‘What is Don Trump?’
A red blooded, born in the USA American!!!!.....
....and a Republican!
