WASHINGTON As the March 15 Ohio primary approaches, only two GOP presidential candidates are airing TV ads in the state.
Billionaire Donald Trump has bought nearly $1 million in Ohio, according to sources tracking the television ad buys around the country, while New Day for America, the super PAC supporting Ohio Gov. John Kasich, has bought at least $1.2 million since last Thursday with more than $700,000 worth of ads yet to air as of Monday. Kasich for America, meanwhile, has bought $45,000 on cable and at least $154,000 on broadcast.
Sens. Marco Rubio of Florida and Ted Cruz of Texas seem to be focusing their efforts elsewhere.
Five states are voting on March 15, and Ohio is one of the biggest prizes, with the winner taking all 66 delegates. But its not the only winner-take-all state voting that day: Florida, with its 99 delegates, will give all of those delegates to that states winner. Rubio, a first-term senator from the state, is focusing most of his efforts there, and plans on spending most of his time leading up to March 15 in Florida...
Illinois, Missouri and North Carolina also vote March 15. In all, 358 delegates...
Cruz has not signaled his intentions about Ohio, but his campaign late last week opened 10 offices in Florida. He has yet to buy airtime in the state, though, according to those familiar with his purchases.
That leaves Ohios airwaves up for grabs. Trump is spending $330,000 in Cleveland; $210,000 in Columbus, $185,000 in Cincinnati and $114,000 in Dayton, with the remainder going to other TV markets scattered around the state. On Saturday, he will be in Cleveland and Dayton for rallies.
New Day for America is reportedly spending $294,000 in Cleveland; $278,000 in Cincinnati, $234,000 in Columbus and $165,000 in Dayton

Trump spending millions of his own money. Will not need to repay any favors.
EVERY other candidate will owe shadowy billionaire donors big time for their entire time at the White House.
This is a huge issue not getting enough attention
I think idiots might give Ksick a narrow win in ohio. Guess what?? It doen’t meam Jack. If the pope is really a catholic , rinio will loose floride by 1 silly little “winner take all” vote to trump . 99 big ones for the George Washington of our time and a clean shot “going forward” unless he is physically attacked successfully. Then we will have Erik Trump NOW!!
If rubio looses — It is over .We dant care about Ohio. Because there are the following : New Youk, Illiois, wisconsin. california ,pennsylvatia, New JErsey, Wisconsin,Idaho, Utah. It will be 100% trump. Get your yard signs ready . Hillary be goin down. Rino be goin down HArd We ara the New party but we get the money. OH BTW— SWarah Pailin with br our new”washerwoman shutz” in the republican party. She will kick ass and take names. Get ready for victory. God Bless donald Dohn Trump— President.
Exactly, every other candidate in this race, Ted Cruz, John Kasich, and Marco Rubio is taking every dime of special interest cash they can get. None of that money comes without strings. Trump is the only one who would enter the WH without any obligations who can work for us.
Trump will take Florida. You can bank on it.
Ohio Ping

Not only the self-funding, but the fact that Jeb Bush's donors, I think five of them, have now signed on with Cruz. Now, exactly what do people who would donate to Jeb have in common with Cruz? Unless Ted isn't the outsider he wants everyone to believe.
Trump is definitely the one that the establishment fears most and they are pulling all the stops to stop him. I pray to God that Trump succeeds.
I'm not sure what they offered Cruz but it looks like he has agreed to be the gopE's scorched earth candidate.
I know ohioans pretty well. Trump needs to do an ad with kasich saying last week on post debate interviews that he can’t win. Say, “Why waste your vote. Kasich himself says he can’t win.” We don’t like voting for people who have admitted they know they are losing and won’t win. It doesn’t have to be a mean ad, just clearly factual and based on kasich’s own admission.
Agreed and the establishment knows it.
Cruz is such a great talker that I am sure that he can talk himself out of his *deeply held convictions* for the right amount of money. Beware a slick smart lawyer with a Harvard degree.
That would be a great....and factual ad.
Businessman Tump is LOANING candidate Trump money, which candidate Trump is paying back to himself from campaign contributions from others. It a joke to think that Trump is doing all this by actually SPENDING his own money, and the joke is on the losers who believe this BS.
I'm not so sure with Cruz it's money, he's already a multimillionaire. I have heard the term "unbridled ambition" applied to him from people of both parties, and all walks of life, especially in Texas.
Kasich will jump around like a pogo stick if he wins Ohio. He spent literally months in New Hampshire so he could come in second.
you call BS?.. name the PACs running ads for Trump?.. the “others” you speak of are small mom and pop nickle and dime donations(tokens) hardly enough to run a successful campaign unlike your guy who is taking tens of millions from big donors and having the super PACS do his dirty work who will want their favors taken care of like all career politicians do
Someone, possibly liquored up, is posting gibberish in your name based upon the post to which this is directed.
So right.
