The anti-immigration Alternative for Germany (AfD) stole huge amounts of votes off the established political parties in elections in central Germany, while a small neo-Nazi party won 17 percent in one district.
Confirming polling which shows that the AfD have hugely increased their share of the vote since Germany decided to open its doors to refugees in late August 2015, the right-wing party won on average 13.2 percent of votes at local election in the central German state of Hesse on Sunday.
This result made the AfD the third largest party behind Chancellor Angela Merkels Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and the Social Democratic Party (SPD), who won 28.2 percent and 28.0 percent respectively, Hessischer Rundfunk reports.

“stole” - uh huh. Europe will dissolve into a maelstrom of fire and blood. It’s overdue.
Don’t you love the characterizations? Funny, it’s never the “hard left” that “steals” votes.
The Germans are waking up to the muslim invasion and lying politicians, hope it’s not too late.
Weimer was bad, but that didn't mean that the Nazis were better.
True; somehow I don’t see them using the same language if Die Linke (the East German communist party) had such electoral gains.
The AfD aren’t right-wing unless they support smaller government.
I imagine the AfD are nationalist and in favor of border control, which would obviously be a huge step forward for Germany.
But they’re not right-wing, unless we persist in using the corrupt definition of right-wing coined by the Communists.
Over in social-market-economy Europe, they sure will not use the US definition of right wing but only the USSR’s one.
Plus of course they continue to conflate Right-wing and Nazism.
The legacy media will never relinquish their cherished terms. This is why (of course) they are the legacy media, and why we are the new media.
Germans are starting to understand their elites don’t give a damn about ‘diversity’ they care about the German version of the CHEAP LABOR EXPRESS.
No one said the Nazis were better. The Germans have a right to move to the Right and remove the Anti-Semitic Muslims from their country.
The point is that they had best be circumspect about who they’re flocking to for a solution to their problem.
That’s the thing; they aren’t necessarily moving to the right, certainly not as we define it.
