"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldn’t make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan

"A thing moderately good is not so good as it ought to be. Moderation in temper is always a virtue; but moderation in principle is always a vice." - Thomas Paine 1792

"It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." - Samuel Adams

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams

" Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost." - John Quincy Adams

Wow, Cruz is delusional

The media has been out for Trump since day one

The media, DNC, RNC have been after Trump

Cruz, is just mad that a majority of the voting public think he is “creepy”

Cruz only so happy to ride Romney’s coattails. Cruz is for winning by all means possible even if it means denying the peoples voice.

I could have and I do often, but as Mitt Romney rightly observed, the fact that Donald won’t hand over his tax returns suggests there’s a bombshell in there.

So why hasn’t Ted Cruz released his schedule A&B pages from his returns? Are there any bombshells in the details of his income and deductions? We would at least get a list of the charities to which he and Heidi contributed.

I still like Cruz, but the stuff he is saying makes me not want to listen to him. Claiming there is a bombshell in the tax returns, or that the media wants Trump so he can lose to Hillary is the kind of stuff I expect from the Clintons.

It makes him look desperate.

Donald may be the only person on the face of the planet that Hillary Clinton can beat and all of the attacks on Donald that the media is not talking about now, you better believe, come September, October, November, if he were the nominee, every day on the nightly news would be taking Donald apart and the stakes are too high for us to risk that.

Only one correction I would make. The media would not wait until September to do their media dump on The Donald. They would begin the day after the nomination.

Trump’s business deals are public record. I don’t think the media has anything that hasn’t been put on FR at least 5000 times.

dia outlets, but I can tell you there is so much there. When was the last time people are bringing up his tax returns, for example? We had a debate last night, didn’t hear a word about his tax returns.

Ted is now parroting Romney. Good puppet.

It doesn’t matter what general election polls say right now. Ted is being so dishonest, anyone with a brain knows Trump is stronger in the south - HELLO!- and the northeast barring Maine and in Michigan, Florida, Ohio, Mass….give me a break Ted you do well where people are strongly religious and in your home state which I respect but be real. It’s a big country.

Aw, give Ted a break. He hasn’t been an American long enough to get how our elections really work.

Romney and Cruz may think there is a “bombshell” in Trump’s tax returns. The problem is, how can you defend yourself against a negative. A “bombshell” may be actually be a fizzle and an attempt to blow smoke. The litany of smears against Trump are a desperate attempt to get the electorate clutching pearls over an imaginary goblin in the closet.

The language used, ‘hand over’...

The desired result is that the subject is to cede to external demands otherwise privileged information. ‘If you have nothing to hide, why can’t I just look around your house/car/etc’

Would Ted, a member of the SCOTUS bar, use such language if arguing a 4th or 5th amendment issue?

Methinks not.

This is PRECISELY their playbook. The massive Lib M coverage per capita Mr. Con Man receives shows you quite clearly they intend to build up before the big teardown. This was the tactic for Dole, McCain, Romney before him. Highly predictable.

So Ted was on the record, but not disclosing the names of the media who told him specific information he won’t disclose?

On the record? Off the record? Seems like we just went down this road with Trump and Ted’s demands Trump tell all.
