Cruz: Media is sitting on bombshells about Donald Trump
The Hill ^ | 3/6/2016 | Rebecca Savransky

Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas) said on Sunday that the media is sitting on explosive negative information about front-runner Donald Trump with plans to run it later in the year to tear the candidate apart.

"I think an awful lot of reporters — I can't tell you how many media outlets I hear, you know, have this great exposé on Donald, on different aspects of his business dealings or his past, but they said, 'You know what? We're going to hold it to June or July,'" Cruz said on CBS's "Face The Nation" Sunday. "We're not going to run it now."

Cruz said the media has given the front-runner "hundreds of millions of dollars of free advertising." Every press conference Trump has is shown on every television station, he said, noting the media helped create this "phenomenon."

"And all of the attacks on Donald that the media is not talking about now, you'd better believe come September, October, November — if he were the nominee — every day on the nightly news would be taking Donald apart," he said.

This is a repeat of what he did to Carson in Iowa: Make an outrageous lie and not have any facts to back it up.

Notice Jeff Roe was never fired...

and then it’s ROMNEY TO THE RESCUE!”””

Romney &
Ryan have already taken out the papers with the FEC to run for President & VP of the USA. They did so on Jan 30, 2016.

They are waiting in the wings to cause commotion & rancor & then to waltz in & take the convention away.

They haven’t spent a dime-—done any debates-—paid for any venues—held any rallys—bought any advertising—paid for phone polling-—or any of the other work that Trump & others have done.

I think it is despicable that they are playing such a dirty game.

Neither of them attacked Obama in 2012 at any level & here Romney is trying to tell all of us voters that we are ‘stupid’ & ‘suckers’ and that he is the white knight in shining armor.

Mitt can kiss my a&&. I would never vote for him again. Got suckered into it once——NEVER AGAIN.

“His wife’s “issues” are old news and again those are leftovers from the Dewhurst thing.”

I’d agree with you if it had been in the news here in Houston during Cruz’s campaign for Senate.

They may find something on Cruz ............

Ya mean like the “Principled Constitutional Lawyer” is running for an office he’s Constitutionally ineligible for?

NBC is the equivalent of a human Pedigree. It requires 100% American parentage and native birth.......Not Canadian birth to a Cuban Father and an American mother......

Should Ted win the general election, the Democrats in the Congress and Senate WILL object and he will be found ineligible, making the next highest vote getter (Hillary) the winner. Look that up, it’s in the Constitution Ted forgot to read!

He skipped CPAC because he didn’t want to take questions from the audience.

I’ve held my nose and voted, too. But this election is the end-game. If Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders wins in November, it is all over. The day after the election you will see the stock market crash like no one has ever seen before, because EVERYONE will be dumping equities and getting out of the market. Anyone over the age of 59 1/2 will cash out their IRAs and 401ks, because I guarantee those retirement programs will be nationalized, ala Theresa Gucchiarra or whatever the hell her name is.

If Cruz is the great defender of the Constitution you seem to think he is. He should call the media out and remind them their job is not to use information to sway elections. He should name them and he should let the American people know the game they are playing. Instead he sees this as a way to further his ambition.

If they have information they think we should know to make an informed decision, that is exactly their job. I’m sure you would want them to give us any information they may have that would be detrimental to Hillary Clinton now wouldn’t you.

You can’t tell Cruz quotes from Romney quotes now. Two peas in a pod. How pathetic is that. Principled conservative my you know what.

You have a good point.

But then again, all they have to do is deny it. Of course we’ll know for sure in a few months, but it might be too late then.

Cruze is a slimeball he’s no different than Romney or McCain I am NOT voting for him. Well if he were to call a news conference tomorrow and name the media people by name and the game they’re playing and explain it to the American people I would vote for him but that’s it.

The FIRST THING they’ll go after is his eligibility. All they have to do is get a court to throw out Cruz - and WE GET ROMNEY, regardless of how many delegates Cruz has - it ends for him THAT DAY.

What you’re missing is the GOP don’t have to “go after” Cruz. Just give him the VP slot under Ryan and he will be a happy camper.

If Cruz was as smart as he thinks he is, he’d form an alliance with Trump. The powers that be don’t want Cruz either. And they will be coming after him in due time. A trump/cruz team would kick butt and take no prisoners. They can expose whatever corruption they are desperate to hide from the voters. It would be epic for them to take down both parties and return government to the people.

Yes they should release the information now when it can be used to make a decision not using it as a club or barging chip

in some game they’re playing. That includes Ted Cruz.

Lots of Trump scandals, mob connections, corrupt union connects, dealings with corrupt politicians and other government officials, and even Russian mob business associates that few in the general public know about.

And then there is the Trump University RICO lawsuit in which Trump is the main defendant. The media is going to call him a racketeer, and they will be telling the truth for once. Trump screwed over the little guy. Yeah that’s really going to help Trump get the votes of the common people.

And for a list of the Cruz scandals. Oh, yeah, he filled out the wrong form when disclosing a loan secured 100% with his own assets that he paid back. Some scandal.

Looks like Cruz is working hand and glove with the Establishment.

Why else would he say this?

It reminds me of Cruz using the IRS to attack Trump.

Astounding!

What’s even more astounding his how comfortable his supporters are with this sleaziness. Cruz is either a mind reader or a liar. Pick one. This is principled conservatism? LOL.
