Cruz: Media is sitting on bombshells about Donald Trump

Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas) said on Sunday that the media is sitting on explosive negative information about front-runner Donald Trump with plans to run it later in the year to tear the candidate apart.

"I think an awful lot of reporters — I can't tell you how many media outlets I hear, you know, have this great exposé on Donald, on different aspects of his business dealings or his past, but they said, 'You know what? We're going to hold it to June or July,'" Cruz said on CBS's "Face The Nation" Sunday. "We're not going to run it now."

Cruz said the media has given the front-runner "hundreds of millions of dollars of free advertising." Every press conference Trump has is shown on every television station, he said, noting the media helped create this "phenomenon."

"And all of the attacks on Donald that the media is not talking about now, you'd better believe come September, October, November — if he were the nominee — every day on the nightly news would be taking Donald apart," he said.

Yet probably 95% of the people on this forum hadn’t even heard about Trump University 2 weeks ago. Journalists don’t usually sit around digging up dirt on celebrities. Presidential candidates are a whole different story.

We don’t know what’s waiting in the wings. Interviews with people hurt in his bankruptcies/business dealings/lawsuits? Bimbo eruption? Hot mic moments of him using profanity or trashing groups of people? We already have tons of footage of him holding completely different positions than he took in the primary. Those alone, all strung together, will show a candidate who looks extremely dishonest.

No, I’m not just making that up. If you look at the voter rolls in Canada, she and Cruz’s dad were voth on them. At that time, you had to be a Canadian citizen to vote. They didn’t recognize dual citizenship at that time, so, it seems that she became a Canadian citizen while there. Why else hasn’t Cruz released his naturalization papers? You’ll have to do some research to find these details - they are out there. Ted’s dad also didn’t fight with Castro - he was a student in Havanah, and a family friend bribed an official to get him out of the country. All a pack of lies from Cruz. Don’t be fooled!

If the great constitutional conservative Ted Cruz really cares about this country, he should call the media out on this and expose them. But it looks like he thinks this will help his campaign, that is sleaze.

Rush plays dumb, like he’s not up on the latest news, so rarely brings up the plethora of dishonesty issues surrounding the Cruz campaign. Yup. Trump is the most adamant about stopping and preventing illegal immigration. The politicians (Rubio, Cruz, Romney, Kasich, etc) give the topic lip service.

Too late to change my mind, I have already voted for Cruz...........and I would do it again over Trump. Next fall we will have 2 choices again and I will vote for the Republican nominee. No matter how bad Cruz or Trump might be.........Hillary is worse and must be defeated.
