Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas) said on Sunday that the media is sitting on explosive negative information about front-runner Donald Trump with plans to run it later in the year to tear the candidate apart.
"I think an awful lot of reporters — I can't tell you how many media outlets I hear, you know, have this great exposé on Donald, on different aspects of his business dealings or his past, but they said, 'You know what? We're going to hold it to June or July,'" Cruz said on CBS's "Face The Nation" Sunday. "We're not going to run it now."
Cruz said the media has given the front-runner "hundreds of millions of dollars of free advertising." Every press conference Trump has is shown on every television station, he said, noting the media helped create this "phenomenon."
"And all of the attacks on Donald that the media is not talking about now, you'd better believe come September, October, November — if he were the nominee — every day on the nightly news would be taking Donald apart," he said.

Cruz is proving to be one of the biggest sleaze ball, low lifes to ever run for president, shamelessly using the tactics of the left and innuendo, rumor-mongering and unsupported speculation like the most unprincipled character one could imagine.
Yep, Ted is the quite a principled conservative who’s tactics would make Harry Reid proud.

Don’t you get it? This is the MSM we are talking about. They want Trump to win and then they will come to Hillary’s rescue.
Will you quit it already? I am a Cruz supporter, but Trump is a close second, and I will happily vote for him if he is the nominee.
Most Cruz supporters I know will happily vote for Trump if he is the nominee, unlike most Trump supporters who proudly proclaim they will sit home or vote for the Dim if Cruz is the nominee.
I swear, I have never seen so many Americans so eager to commit national suicide.

You are right! Hillary will remove Cruz’s name from the state ballots with the help of her party, her big financial backers, her media and the Soros-bought secretaries of state in many states, while the GOPe watch in silence.
In 2008 hillary was threatened into silence about obola’s ineligibility. This time hillary will scream at the top of her lungs to vaporize Cruz while laughing all the way to the WH at the stunned Cruz supporters and the other voters who had warned of this disaster!
With Trump, hillary can only attack his past which is already an open book. With Trump, the constitutionally eligible, tough, master-at-the-game, wildly-supported Trump we have an excellent chance of defeating hillary!
Cruz represented drug companies.
Cruz represented Toyota when Toyota intentionally concealed documents in violation of a court order.
There are no bombshells on Trump. His whole life is an open book that has played out in the Tabloids. He likely has a lot of stuff on Killary.
Yeah, but he’s come out and said things like “Lotsa people tell me they’re worried about it,” he’s used the same tactic so I don’t begrudge it to Cruz.
I try not to comment on the vote much.
All I can say is that both sides are encouraged to participate and cast ballots there.
I’ve checked those out a couple of times. Not exactly a full count on Freepers. I wouldn’t presume they represent how Freepers will vote at the ballotbox.
Another of Cruz’s lying inferences. Guess he gave up on mob ties in Trump’s taxes cuz everyone laughed him out of town.
Exactly. Though I am a little disappointed that Trump doesn't seem to have an opposition research team, so much out there.

I don't care. It's his private business. In fact, what anyone does in their own bedroom doesn't concern me anymore with ISIS on our doorstep, the economy getting ready to crash like its 1929, Obamacare, the gimmedats, etc.

Yep, Ted seems to have missed that thing about bearing false witness. Ted's Elmer Gantry routine and his general hypocrisy are one of the main reasons he fell well short of the support many expected for him in the Deep South.

They will come at Trump with everything they have but if he gets the nomination, he’ll beat Hillary and here’s why.
He has fought off the entire media, mainstream and right-wing, the GOP, Democrats, foreign leaders, PAC billionaires, and yes, the Pope. If he’s still standing after all that, Hillary will never lay a glove on him.
