VOTE AS YOU WISH, AND LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT TRUMP - - A personal note from Peter Ticktin who knows the guy from high school:
As a law firm, we at The Ticktin Law Group do not like to get involved in politics. As soon as we endorse one side, we risk alienating everyone on the other side. Also, our lawyers and staff are, themselves, on both sides. Politics is not our game. However, Justice is!
If you saw a guy get publicly smeared, and you knew him well from the days you were friends and seniors together in high school, if you knew him to be a decent and honest man, would you want to say something? This is why I need to share what I know.
I was aghast at watching last night's debate. It was a set-up. The moderators, Cruz, and Rubio were all like little alligators trying to take a bite out of Trump. Yes, Donald Trump has had some failures, but he has been exceedingly successful. None of this came out. Instead, there was a general attack. Rubio simply makes up lies. He pretends that Trump has small hands and makes fun of him for something which isn't even real. He pretends that Donald wets his pants, and makes fun of him, as though it was true, and then he calls Donald Trump a "Bully."

I honestly do not understand why Trump does not raise these issues.
You may be able to channel that seething class envy into action here:
I believe he mentioned the Iran funding in passing at a Rally, but no he has not gone full bore on these issues...
Glenn Beck is on ABC right now, holding up Nazi material and directly accusing Trump of being another Hitler.
THAT is what Ted Cruz supporters are praising. SHAME
Thanks, SueRae.
Thanks for this post. The absolute hatred we have seen is demonic.
He should mention it all the time. This TPP/TPA and the corker bill needs to be explained.
We have four candidates left running. I’ve seen a photo of only one of them in uniform — Donald Trump. Sure, it’s from military academy, but it’s more background than any of the others have. He “gets” an honor code, and the lies and dirty tricks from the two Cuban children must surprise him.
Wow! That is some monologue. It needs to be seen and heard by everyone.
He said he won’t settle because he will win. He said it would be much cheaper for him to settle. He also said settling just encourages more frivolous suits.
So here's and excerpt from what the "school chum" said:
Like Donald Trump, I attended New York Military Academy ("NYMA") for high school. In fact, in our senior year, together, Donald was my captain, and I was his 1st Platoon Sergeant. I sometimes joke that I ran his first company for him, Company "A."Please contrast those comments with these from Wayne Allen Root:People don't really change much from the ages of 17 and 18, and I know this guy. I know him to be a good decent guy. We lived and breathed an Honor Code in those years. It wasn't just a rule. It was our way of life. Neither Donald, nor any other cadet who graduated with us would ever lie, cheat, or steal from a fellow cadet. These values became irreversibly intertwined in the fabric of our personalities, of who we are.
Of the 99 guys (no girls in those days) in our class, there is not one who I know who has a bad word to say about Donald Trump. Think of it. With all the jealousies which arise in high school and thereafter, with all the potential envy, not one of us has anything other than positive memories of this man. How could we? He was an "A" student, a top athlete, and as a leader, he was highly respected. We never feared him, yet we never wanted to disappoint him. He had our respect. He was never a bigot in any way, shape or form. He only hates those who hate. Of course he denounces the KKK.
I am a graduate of Columbia University, Class of 1983. Thats the same class Barack Obama claims to have graduated from. We shared the same exact major- Political Science. We were both Pre Law. It was a small class- about 700 students. The Political Science department was even smaller and closer-knit (maybe 150 students). I thought I knew, or met at least once, (or certainly saw in classes) every fellow Poly Sci classmate in my four years at Columbia.SFAIK, no one in Obama's Class at Columbia has come forward to refute Root's remarks. I doubt anyone will come forward to refute the "school chum's" remarks either. But not Obama. No one ever met him. Even worse, no one even remembers seeing that unique memorable face. Think about this for a minute. Our classmate is President of the United States. Shouldnt someone remember him? Or at least claim to remember him?
One of the speakers at the 30th reunion should have reminisced about my days with the future President. But no one did. Youd think Obama might have sent a video to tell us all how much he enjoyed his time at Columbia. Youd think hed have sent at least a letter to be read aloud from one of his former college buddies. Right? But he didnt. Because Obama has no former college buddies. No one that ever met Obama, let alone befriended him, was in attendence at our 30th class reunion.
Now you might argue this is all strange, but its possible. Afterall Columbia says he graduated. And I take my colleges word for it. Would one of the worlds greatest Ivy League institutions participate in a coverup, thereby risking their billion dollar reputation? And there is one single article written for the Columbia newspaper with Obamas name on it. A single photo also exists of Obama in his Manhattan apartment with the man he claims was his college roommate- a Pakistani foreign student. And one single radical leftist Columbia professor who hates Israel also claims he remembers Obama.
Thats the sum total of Obamas existence at Columbia University, Class of 83.
So I asked every classmate I met at our 30th reunion, many of them Political Science majors, if they ever met, or saw, or heard of Obama. The answer was a resounding NO from every one of them. I asked if they found this strange, or worried how this was possible? They all answered YES. I asked if they thought it was possible to be a Political Science major and never meet a fellow major in our small classes? They all gave me a very strange look and answered NO. So I asked, How could this be possible? Can you explain this? No one had an answer.
Keep in mind these people I spoke to are all- to a man and woman- dedicated liberal Democrats who voted for Obama. Im guessing 90% are major Democrat contributors. My Columbia classmates are the crème of the crop of American society. Lawyers, doctors, billionaire hedge fund members, stars of the media. They adore Obama. But they all admit they never met him in their four years at Columbia. I am proud of my classmates for their honesty and integrity.
One classmate told me he was present when one of the most honored professors in Columbia University history gave a speech to alumni a couple of years ago. The speech was followed by Q&A. This beloved professor was asked about Obama at Columbia. He said, I have my doubts about the story. The crowd was stunned. He immediately went onto the next question and never elaborated. So obviously Im not the only one with doubts.

Let me know when he’s running for high school class president and I’ll then consider him.
Haven’t you Trump supporters been telling us that people change over the years and we can’t hold things that the Donald has done and said over the years against him? Well, if that holds true we also can’t judge him based on who did and did not like him over 50 years ago.
“Heidi makes $750,000 year”
And, coincidentally, Heidi was bumped up to her cushy high-paying job at Goldman-Sachs less than 10 days after her shyster husband became Senator. The incestuous relationship between Ted and Goldman-Sachs regarding funding, financing, etc., is disgusting.
“I honestly do not understand why Trump does not raise these issues.”
I know. Instead of repeating the same schtick at his rallies, etc., he needs to get serious and address serious issues and attacks. The attacks on him give him opportunities to explain what’s true, and to clarify the perceptions.
Enough with things like the locker room “big hands” stuff. People like Rubio go in there just to poke the bear, and Trump falls for it and engages. He needs to not do that. Just say something condescending about “the kids” or similar, and move on. He needs to rise above that crap.
Go Trump.
I love that he won’t settle a frivolous lawsuit when he knows he’s right. That’s the kind of person we need running this country.
Absolutely. Ted should be thanking Donald. He singlehandedly disrupted the inevitability of both Clinton and Jeb!. He forgets that those long knives would have been pointed at him if Trump wasn’t there. I wonder if he could have carried Texas if Jeb! had pulled out.
You don’t see Christian virtues in Cruz. But you see them in Trump? Not only does he brag about his numerous extra marital affairs he also claims to have nothing to repent or ask forgiveness for. There was only one man that ever lived that could claim to have nothing to repent for and it sure as hell isn’t Trump.
Trump doesn’t try to be Jimmy Swaggart. Cruz does.
