The crazed ultra leftists would try to write the Confederate States Army OUT of the Battle of Gettysburg, and eliminate the various versions of the battle flag, including the Army of Northern VA’s battle flag, from the National Battlefield? That’s hard to do, historically speaking SINCE THEY WERE THERE!! And also, an obnoxious group shows up to hassle a memorial ceremony held by the descendants of the fallen Confederate soldiers.

I graduated from Gettysburg College in ‘91. I can’t imagine any of the History Department faculty from back then even thinking about this. Yes, there were a few left leaners (more so in the poli sci dept), but there was an actual reverence for the history of the town, the college and the battlefield.
