As a Cruz supporter I still think he need to toughen his tone, he needs to sound more like a brawler, which is the principle reason anti-establishment are more drawn to Trump.
Trump’s tone doesn’t sound establishment, even if his positions are all over the place. Cruz sounds establishment even if his positions are stridently anti-establishment. He needs to channel that fire he had in him when he called McConnell a liar, and let the voters see it.
the voting shaming thing was sleazy.
.... just wondering if you are aware that the same mailer has been used many times in that state, and was not new or unusual according to the State Secretary... not all that “sleazy” to be honest, and if it helps get folks to the caucus, then great....

Yeah, Trump’s bravado is all an act though, IMO. He doesn’t really mean a word he says. It’s all about getting votes.
He donated to conservatives and liberals. He says he buys politicians. (I’ll get the quote from the first debate if you need a reminder.)
Can we agree that donating to conservative politicians is a-okay? Some might even say that donating with an expectation of a return on investment is okay. (Not I.)
Now focus on the second set (libs).
Could we agree that giving money to liberals is not helpful to the conservative cause?

Thanks for the post-I was only able to catch part of it yesterday. Cruz was really good and very well-received.
Trump said as a business man he owed getting along with everyone, including democrats, to his business, his family and employees. That makes sense to me.
