Semi-Super Saurday.
LA has lots of evangelical voters... and is a closed primary state.
Cruz can win closed states with conservative religious voters.
The obverse side of the picture is that limits his appeal in FL and northern states with more mainstream GOP voters.
That’s Trump country.
They have mail in votes in a lot of primary states. If Trump loses don’t blame fraud, blame Trump.
He has NEVEr BEEN LOYAL to any donors over his constituents...
And don’t you think Trump is going to have to have some HUGE donors in the general??? Surely you don’t think he can fund a general election by himself do you???
There’s information online that suggests he’s won big in Waldo, Hancock, and Kennebec counties. Hope it sticks!

I’m finding it odd too that they already reporting vote totals while the polls are still open!!!
Oh I thought you misstyped a neighboring state to KANSAS.... I was wondering if there was another primiary today I wasn’t aware of LOL...

It comes down to demographics.
Cruz is doing very well in Huckabee-Santorum country, Trump is dominant elsewhere.
That’s the big picture.
It appears that Cruz will easily win Kansas based on this.
Cruz just lost 5% in an instant..
Gotta ask, how can Cruz be a natural born citizen of America if he was previously a citizen of Canada? This issue needs to be decided in a federal court BEFORE the GOP nomination convention.
IMO, Cruz should have sought long ago to have his issue of NBC eligibility decided in federal court. IMO, it is a black cloud hanging over his candidacy. Almost certainly the Dems will go after him in court if he gets the nomination and if a federal court DQ’s him, then the election may very well have been handed over to the socialists.

I don’t like that either, but then I don’t like early voting, same day registration, and lots of other things about how elections are done nowadays. My Dad, who was a decorated WWII veteran, always impressed on my how sacred the right to vote is, and I think it should ge treated accordingly.
I have several cousins who live in Hancock County. They are Cruz people. They’re pretty happy.
Kansas already called for Cruz?

“Kansas - 11% in and Cruz with 52% of the vote. Trump around 25%. It appears that Cruz will easily win Kansas based on this.”
Only 8% of the votes in so far.
I certainly hope Kansas republicans aren’t stupid enough to take their marching orders from Mitt Romney. I wouldn’t be surprised. No wonder dems win. Hillary would crush Cruz, he can’t bring in independents and Reagan dems.
Huckabee-Santorum country.
Now Trump can lose KS won’t change the overall picture.
I mean it was never a state he was going to win.
KS hasn’t gone with the front-runner.
No one expects Cruz to win the nomination.
If those demographics were truly reflective of America, yes then Trump wouldn’t be the favorite.
As it is, it pretty much shows Cruz hasn’t expanded his base.
I think that hurts the person leading honestly....people will say “oh he’s got it in the bag” and stay home....
