KS is contrarian... it voted for Huckabee in 2008 and for Santorum in 2012 - its just the kind of voters Cruz is gonna pick up there.

We knew that going in so Cruz adds another state to his win column in the middle of the country.

defied but won NOTHING. The end result was kabuki theater with no meaning.

Pretend fighting does not give Cruz gravitas.

“KS is contrarian.”

Home of the Westboro Baptist Church. ‘nuff said.

Odd how the media holds back reports until all polling closes yet Kansas is being reported as if to influence other campaigns.

I was wondering the same thing. CNN showing thousands of people in line in Wichita, said they have to get more ballots printed at Kinkos, yet they are already reporting results.

Closed caucuses and primaries are tougher for Trump. Go, Cruz!

Usually takes longer to count caucus votes in the larger cities thus they are later to report results.

That's kind of what I was wondering especially how the ballots were set up with just a checkmark and no computer type scans that can count them quickly. Also, there sounds like there has been huge turnouts in the bigger cities.

In the end, I voted for Trump. Despite how bombastic he can be, I know what I am getting with him and I do like his mostly Constitutional conservative message. I also like Cruz but what bothered me about him is he got in with the establishment to try to help take down Trump. If he were president, I think he would do an OK job but he would still have to be loyal to the establishment donors. Trump, as an outsider, has a good chance to get things done, as a businessman, he has a history of demonstrating that.

Still early. They have until the 15th at 7pm to get them delivered. Also a lot of the absentee ballots are surrendered at polling places in exchange for a live vote. They are not taken out of the total of mailed ballots.

These caucuses are the most susceptible to fraud, vote packing, and other games.

There is also the issue of mailed ballots.

Lewiston/Auburn is really thick with Somalis, quite a few in Portland too. Governor Baldacci imported them.

Portland is wacko liberal. L/A is hooked on the government teat.
