Have you noticed that even after the Romney ‘speech’ that Rush continued to push the lie that the GOP hates (and is scared of) Cruz more than Trump?

Yea. That’s how conservative radio is playing this. They’re trying to lump Cruz in with Trump. Has been keeping this for a long time. Hannity does it also. Too me Cruz is GOPe but is just unlikable. He just had a different strategy. His election will change absolutely nothing

Everything to some of you Trump supporters is a "lie". You yell "lie" more than Al Sharpton yells "racist".

And Romney's lame speech doesn't prove the GOPe fears one candidate over the other. Trump is the one leading right now, that's why the speech.

Cruz coming to Maine made a huge difference. His crowd was easily 2 times larger than the Colonel’s or the Donald’s, probably much more. They had to change the venue 3 times to a larger one. Conservatives are tired of being told who they are supposed to vote for, and compromising on someone who has been wishy washy (and I don’t hate Trump, just know who aligns the best with my values for the past 2 years)

Bush/Rove/Romney version of options chaos, in Bush turf. A vote for Ted is a vote for brokered convention. Ted has zero charisma, will never win.

He agreed with Romney about Trump but said that they were coming from different places......

Trump just told Hannity the other night that he used to be establishment behind the scenes, but he became anti-establishment once he started running for President... that was just this week... I think Monday maybe???

From day 1 Trump has taken 10x the heat of Cruz. Furthermore Cruz has stated that Romney made some good points. Cruz has also tightened his grip with the establishment as the nomination process has matured.

Charisma over Substance. Cruz is no Bush or Romney. And no favorite of the GOPe, pure revisionist history.

If you listened to Cruz at CPAC he decried a brokered convention sine he believes that both he and Trump would be the targets. He said there would be an uprising if it happened.

jbush was a designated loser.

The other candidates who dropped out were useful idiots to divide the vote enough for jbush.

We are left with two sitting senators and an establishment (=moderate) governor and a businessman. It the era of McCain and Romney, the first three would be guaranteed. They promise the sun moon and stars and deliver crumbs.

DC needs job insecurity.

No I am unwilling to give up my quality of life - it is way past time for government to give up government's quality of life.

Well said. The area around the Beltway is far wealthier than the rest of the country. I lived in Arlington VA from 1977-1981- my house doubled in price in that long ago time. It would probably be worth two million now. The government salaries are so inflated compared with the private sector and the benefits so very generous. Stop this theft and decrease the size of the federal government.

No, I was thinking of a KY jelly pun. Together with what the GOP-e (Mitch McConnell) has done to the conservatives...

CNN issued first alert out of Kansas.

Cruz ahead with 45% of vote in Kansas GOP Caucus... Trump distant second with 30%.

It looks like closed caucuses may be a problem for The Donald.

Only 1% of the vote in from Kansas.

Furthermore Cruz has stated that Romney made some good points.

I'm guessing that Cruz agreed that there are things about Trump that aren't conservative, but I know for a fact that Cruz criticized Romney for wanting a brokered convention.

Cruz has also tightened his grip with the establishment as the nomination process has matured.

No he hasn't.
