For YEARS conservatives here on FreeRepublic have bemoaned the fact that we never have a chance to vote for a conservative candidate. The establishment always chooses a moderate candidate for us, and we get our asses handed to us because there's no clear difference between our candidate and theirs.
For once, we have a CLEAR difference. Cruz is solidly conservative. Always has been. Always will be.
Trump is Trump. He'll build the wall! (unless he won't). He'll abolish Obamacare (unless socialized medicine keeps people from dying in the streets). Etc. Etc. Etc.
He'll assassinate good people's character for personal gain.
We have a chance to vote for the conservative we've been clamoring for.
That's why.
Not enough for you, he brings them to the U.S. under terms that they work for him, or nobody, they work at his price, no negotiation and when he's finished with them - whoosh, back home they go!

Many people are way too eager to get back at liberal, pc, Marxists, so they grab onto Trump's life raft and I fear they will find out too late, way too late, that what he claimed was only his opening bid, he'll take a lower, much lower deal. He's the ultimate "deal maker," at least according to him.

H1B visa and O-1 Visa and Green Card is very different thing.
O-1 visa is for very high skilled worker. After this visa one can apply for immigration. Immigration means Green Card.
H1b visa is not immigration, it is work permit. One has to go to native country to get visa stamped and issued based on job offer.

Oh he has my vote no question, I love what he says and also what’s written on his website. I just have studied both enough to know that he doesn’t know what’s on his website all that well, even about his signature issue of immigration. It’s not that much text, an hour or two of study and he’d have it committed to memory. Wish he would, but hey, you’re right, there’s no perfect candidate.

This is why Trump is not my first choice for POTUS. Too many inconsistencies.
In Detroit debate Trump said he would get rid of EPA- but on Iowa he said he'd use EPA to enforce higher Ethanol standards than Obama's.
Not sure what he would do as POTUS. I'm guessing he'd be moderate in governing. It's odd that conservatives are backing him over Cruz. I don't get it.
